don't waste your time at the U-Haul rental on Manheim Pike, they did not want to help us at all. Barry's was professional, polite and very helpful so we will continue to rent from him!

Reserved the van online, I found it to be extremely cumbersome and I will never do it again. It took much longer than picking the vehicle up in person. The wait to obtain approval, after submission of photo, license was painstaking long. Used chat to inquire about length to process, no response. FRUSTRATING, I could have picked up the van in 5 minutes had I went into the office as compared to 15-20 minutes.

Location was wonderful. The U-Haul "Lock Box" Process was HORRIBLE ! ! I spent over an hour on the phone at the location to get the Lock Box Code! ! I WILL NEVER rent a U-Haul again if the pick-up location is Closed, unless you FIX THIS PROCESS. I am a former executive & can think of a dozen ways to make it more efficient, so your team should be able to make Dozens of Improvements. The Rotten Apples should not Spoil my experience! !

I am very unhappy with the amount i was charged. My truck was 39.99...my total.bill over 90.00 how is that possible. I even put gas back in the tank I barely used any of it. Less then 20 miles I put on. Rip off. I would not and will not not recommend this anyone. I am going to call BBB to see about this.

I originally rented a truck for 4/19/18 but the location changed to a larger truck my daughter could not drive. I rescheduled for a time when I was available to avoid a similar incident. I picked up the truck at 11:00 am on 4/27/18 and returned at 3:00 pm. I indicated I drove 21 miles and had filled the truck back to 3/4 tank. The owner accepted my information without checking the truck or requesting I stay so he could check it over. I did not receive an e-mail notice for the cost. The first notice I got was from my credit card company.. The charge was $9.59 over the contract. I had driven 1 mile over the contract, he noted 3 miles. He added 1/16 of a tank of gas at $6.38/gal. When I called U-Haul, they would not contact the company or consider any changes in the billing. After 1 hour on a chat room, they agreed to reimburse $6.38 for the gas. I have 2 issues, the truck should have been checked before I left, the owner didn't seem to be interested, and second is the fact that the contract said if the company added gas it would be at $4.25/gal.. On 5/12, U-Haul sent me a copy of the contract and that showed and the price for gas was changed to $4.50/gal. but I was charged $6.38/gal. Why did U-Haul not question this change in the gas price when it received the contract? Why didn't the leasing company inform me of the changes to the contract? They had my phone number and e-mail address. For this reason, I cannot recommend this location for future business. I have used other U-Haul locations in this area and I am willing to wait the extra 1/2 hour while they review the truck and OK the contract.

The company said “The fuel tank is full” when I got to the truck the tank was 3/4full so I snapped a picture of he gage (millage too). When I returned the vehicle, I returned it with a full tank and for some strange reason I got charged for gas.

I'd like to see the rate per mile included on the billing statement for my records. The mileage and daily rate for the equipment is there, but not the cost per mile. Other than that...this is such a paint free & fast service! Love it!??

As I drove by your location at the Manheim pike, Lancaster, PA, I saw a lot of new trucks and was hoping to get something like that instead of getting a truck from Penske... but got an old truck from you... I could not drive over 60 m/h on it. The cabin was dusty. Otherwise ok.
