Floor of the cab was the disgusting. Whoever had it before me must have been eating peanuts or something and did not have a courtesy the vacuum it out. However I am disable so I couldn't do it or else I would. Only because I grew up with a certain standard and with certain morals will you rent public equipment how you return it for the next person to use. Considering the fact that I was a hour and a 1/2 late they really should a have that clean.

I am very unhappy that we were asked again if we need insurance at the spot when I have already indicated in my reservation that I didn’t need. I made the reservation under my son’s name n I don’t expect that the staff will ask him again whether he needs insurance so I didn’t tell him ahead of time that we don’t need insurance. The staff should just follow whatever the reservation detail is. I called about 5 minutes later to cancel n she said yes over the phone. But when we return n pay then she said it can’t be cancelled once truck is out. That’s not good business practice n I should be refunded the $14 insurance.

Was sent to one location that would not take back my truck and then told me they would need my credit card information to give me back my deposit that was payed in cash due to it being an out of state pick up, which it wasn’t, when correct information was found they sent us to a different location that also wouldn’t take the truck or give me back my cash deposit. Horrible experience had to leave work to handle this over the phone with customer service and was told the reason why I was i convinced in the first place was due to them being full on equipment and that they are being fined by the city, that shouldn’t be the customers problem , If it was full why was I sent there in the first place? Horrible experience trying to return the truck, had to miss a half day of work just to deal with this situation.

The personnel who waited on me was excellent, friendly, and courteous. She worked with me to assure that my issues were addressed. I have concerns on UHaul's side of this rental. I was sent to the wrong location and when I finally received the equipment it was had serious transmission issues. The delay with being sent to the wrong location and the transmission issue (I drove the truck for over 20 miles in first gear at 10 to 15 miles an hour while my labor cost soared. The Uhaul aspect of THIS rental cost me an extra $300 as I was paying help by the hour and the truck held me up and extended the hours. Also, because of the delay, I had to make special arrangements to enter the storage facility which closed at 6:45 pm as I was unable to arrive on time due to the slow pace of the drive (I did not want to hurt the vehicle any further and could not afford further delay to wait for a replacement on the road) Overall, I shall be contacting Uhaul corporate office to see about compensation for the loss of time, money, and energy spent on a job that was extended by hours due to faulty equipment.

The lady that checked us in and got us our rental truck was amazing! Her customer service was outstanding. You could tell she really cared about her job and the customer's well being. Hard to get that kind of service anymore. Very nice experience.

Uhaul needs to remember my time is valuable. The woman at the storage facility where I picked up the truck came in to work 90 min early - without being paid - in order to prepare the truck for me because Uhaul rented the truck to someone else in the overnight hours, after the storage place was closed. I had planned to pick up the truck at 7:30. Kudos to the lady and the storage facility for going the extra mile and cleaning up Uhaul's mess.

The representative Karen was very rude. I held onto the truck longer than planned and she was verbally upset. When I first requested a rental she stated that she was expecting a truck to come in tomorrow but she couldn't guarantee it. I figured she would tell others THE SAME SCRIPTED ANSWER but she told me that she needs the truck back for other people. I couldn't believe my ears, uhaul doesn't want me to rent longer than 2 or 3 days?! I ended up renting it for around 10 days so I thought I'd be greeted with a smile when I dropped the truck off but as soon as I walked in Karen stated "finally, it's about time" with a HORRIBLE attitude. The other lady was very nice and respectful which is why they didn't get the absolute worst rating. I'll never come back to them ever again unless Karen is gone. I'll make sure the internet will be fully aware of this individual/location.
