Was told I would not be charged for the "safemove" option when I returned the truck in which was an option I DID NOT opt for when I reserved the truck. They charged me anyways in the final amount and will not respond when I tried to inquire about it.

My review is of Uhaul customer service...not this specific location. Worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul! I booked a 10' truck to be picked up in Sanford. The night before the move, I get a confirmation for a 15' truck! Not what I ordered and not what I needed. Customer service couldn't help me because it was after 8 when I called. I saw online that I could get a 10' truck in Longwood, so I changed the pickup location. I go to get the truck in Longwood and they don't have my packing blankets. I had to drive to another location to pick them up. I get to the uhaul store and they can't figure out how to rent me the blankets! 40 minutes later they just gave me 6 (which I returned with the truck). Oh and when I picked up the truck, they emailed my documentation (no paper docs anymore?). Well good thing I noted the trucks mileage because the emailed paperwork was wrong! It was under-reported by 58 miles! I drive 114 miles and not a smudge more. I am beyond disgusted with this experience. Moving is hard enough, a truck rental should be easy. What a hassle. Never again!

Let me say this. The longwood location was wonderful. The problem is that I made a reservation 3 weeks ahead of time at the Sanford location, and once I got to the Sanford location, I was told that my reservation was moved to longwood, without letting me know. The gentleman at longwood, told me that the reservation was changed at 5:44am, the morning of my reservation. I had to take extra time to back track to longwood, and cost extra money and extra fuel. It was VERY inconvenient for me. I was also refused any sort of compensation for the Sanford uhauls fuck up. Feel free to call me to discuss. 407-761-4494... I used to use uhaul twice a year. I was definitely "SCAMMED"!!!! Got there and when the gentleman pulled up my reservation on the computer it was all there, but then he said he was having issues with it and would just cancel it and start a new one. My original contract was for a 17ft. truck and estimated cost of ~$250. When the "NEW" contract was done, my estimated cost was over $300 and when I questioned it, he said not to worry it was just an estimate and would be corrected when I returned. Then when it came time to print the contract, he said his printer was broke and he'd Email it. Another customer returned a 15 ft truck about that time. The guy got my supposed 17 ft truck and brought it up....I said that looks bigger then 17 ft. and he just said no it's a TLNN... whatever. When I got home and opened the truck it said inside it was a 20 ft. truck. I called U-Haul and was on hold for 15-20 minutes. Then someone answered, looked up the information and said I was charged for a 20 ft as the contract stated. I explained everything and was told I should be reimbursed and to hold on...then, click I was cut off! I called back and again after 15-20 minutes of hold time I went through the whole story again. Was told a supervisor would call before Sunday when I returned the truck. Sunday came and no call so I called and again explained the whole situation again and was told a supervisor would call within 3 days. I took a copy of my original contract to drop the truck off and no one was there so I dropped the keys in the drop box. Next thing you know Monday morning they hit my charge card for a 4th day of rental even though I returned it the day before under the 3 days I rented. I did hear from a supervisor and was told this would be taken care of, but still I now believe it was all a big "SCAM" by the U-Haul place I got the truck from. I got stuck with a larger truck, which I didn't need, had worse gas mileage for a long trip, wasted my time calling multiple times, and never compensated for any of it. I have rented from U-Haul before, had my trailer hitches put on my vehicles and never thought bad of them until now. This dealer should be banned!

The interior of the truck was dirty, but I guess it's a work truck so who cares. The process of renting the truck was quick and easy. The final cost is what I expected. It saved me $100 over paying someone else to do the job.
