Was not informed the truck did not have a ramp, was not informed that the truck was not tall enough to fit my standard refrigerator when I explicitly told the owner of the business I was moving a standard fridge plus boxes and a bed... owner did not recommend the correct vehicle or the correct equipment for the move. I am not happy at all. I’ve never had this problem with Uhaul in the 16 years I’ve been renting U-Haul trucks.

You overbooked. You didn’t have a truck available for me even though I had a reservation. I had to use a van, which was not really sufficient for the job at hand. Office attendant was nice, but unprepared for an overbook scenario. Manager did not offer me anything to remedy the booking mistake. I booked online through uhaul, not a third party. My reservation was not honored.

Businesses are expected to be open during business hours. Unfortunately upon return the truck, this location was closed at approximately 4:15, when business hours are posted online till 5pm.

Uhaul’s customer service and reliability are horrible. I have never had such a bad experience with any other company as yours. I have tried to speak to someone to make a formal complaint but no one wants to listen. I get told to call various numbers and no one has called me back. Your company’s lack of professionalism and reliability are unreal. I would like for someone to call me back at 323-270-9688 to make a formal complaint about many things.

Not the best experience. It was a holiday weekend and I was scheduled to pick up truck on Friday and carrier on Saturday. I had my movers scheduled for 10-1 on Saturday. Uhaul man said I had till 2pm because it was a holiday weekend and that he did not have any other rentals. I barely made it by 2pm on Saturday. Then we had to load carrier while on busy street. With the carrier we ended up having to get air in tire while on road and that same tire blew out and off while on freeway in Bakersfield. That cause me to to be stuck with my family including my 75 year old mother, 3 year old daughter and 5 month old son. This was a major inconvenience and a safety concern and I am requesting either a refund or major discount.

This was Memorial Day weekend and I was scheduled to load my truck on Saturday so I was planning to come back for carrier on Saturday after 3. The man who owns/runs the place said I had to be back by 2 because he had no other rentals and it was a holiday weekend. And my movers were scheduled for 10-1pm and they were late which meant we were rushing to get to uhaul by 2. The truck was shaking and we did not know why only to witness a tire from the carrier blowing off the carrier into traffic on the freeway.

Insurance on the rental was not clear as stated in "one time charge" when it was not a one time fee, and gasoline was charged when the car was refueled at exact level.

I am EXTREMELY disatisfied with the services received. No one walked outside to check the .ileage and to walk around the vehicle for damages before or after I returned. The gentleman had me just drop the keys off on the desk while he was on the computer chatting. Im even more upset because my card was charged twice. And then i lerned that my receipt does not match the final receipt. I did not drive the miles I anticipated. Therefore my rental should have been cheaper. And plus I declined insurance. But I was still charged it. I have rented fro. UHAUL many of times with no problems. But this experience was not good at all!!!

The truck hitch had a non-U-Haul sanctioned locked pin, and the ball of the hitch was the wrong size to tow. Disappointed that this location rented the truck in this unusable condition. When I called they said ‘we lock all of our hitches.” I had to spend a few hours on the phone w/ U-Haul and I had to work with a Differnet U-Haul near my move site. That location confirmed that this locked pin is a foreign lock and should not be used by any U-Haul dealer. In order to safely tow I had to work with a mechanic to make the unusable hitch usable. Needless to say, I am not going to be using U-Haul in the future, for this location and the phone representatives were unwilling to right this wrong.

Location was closed. No one was there. Phone number for location was disconnected. Location attached to a liquor. Went inside the liquor store, was yelled at by an employee of the liquor store. place was surrounded by homeless people. Very dirty. Very sketchy.
