This location has no sense of customer service. Upon signing the contract for pick up, they hand notated and initialed the level for gas fuel expectation level for drop off. Apparently, there was a discrepancy between what was on our contract that was hand written and what they inputted in the system. The associate at the drop off location noticed the discrepancy and explained that only the pick up location can go in the system and correct the error. After calling this office 4 times in a span of 45 minutes, I got no response. Instead, I was automatically routed to their customer care center. The customer care center, although very polite, advised that they were unable to assist and could only tell me what was inputted in the system. This caused what should be 5 minute drop off to be close to an hour. Their inability to answer incoming calls caused me unwarranted stress and was incredibly inconvenient. Due to the delay, I was unable to meet with my contractor.

Our reservation location was switched. Then the truck we had reserved was late. Finally, the women who we picked up the truck from at the location had a terrible attitude.

It was my understanding and through my confirmation email that this location would be available to pick up at 7 am. I later found out that the lot opened at 9 am causing me too lose time. I was never alerted and the reservation on my application was updated the day of.

The manager was rude. I was not told beforehand that there would be no on-site parking for my vehicle. I had to park on a side street 10 blocks away. I was never told that my truck did not come with a ramp. Awful experience.

Really old truck with very high millage, clearly no one in the company check the trucks and mine broke down after a few miles because it had a huge hole in the radiator which was clearly loosing water. Not only I had to wait many hours to solve this problem, the truck had to be towed and my move got delayed. Horrible experience and I would never recommend uhaul.

I think the 2 attendants should have told us how to return the truck after hours. Most places do. We sat in truck for 30 minutes googling how to return truck and realized there was no key drop or place to leave the truck. We took the truck back home and received a call from Uhaul at 9am asking when we were returning truck. I said we tried to last nite and where was the key drop box and was told there wasn't one. Why weren't we told that at the time we picked the truck up at 3pm, of course we weren't going to be able to get it back at 5pm closing. I must say that one of the ladies did help me with the billing when the truck was returned since online they tried to bill me for 2 day service and $42.00 for fuel (the truck was empty when we picked up) . I ordered two furniture dollies and when I arrived they told me they didn’t have any available. This was beyond inconvenient as I was moving furniture for my grandmother. Why not call and let me know so I would have time to make other plans?

The attendants would leave the desk unattended for long periods of time, they seemed understaffed. Also when I rented a truck, I returned afterwards to report that the lock on the truck i had rented didn't work and request a new, functioning one and they told me there was nothing they could do aside from purchase a new lock from them, despite the fact that I had already paid for the original, non functioning lock.

Extremely easy. My reservation was messed up by on the online system, and the individuals at this location (10321 National Blvd, 90034) were extremely helpful and resolved the problem. Would highly recommend or use again.

The experience was close to horrible. Everything I had confirmed about the reservation over the phone was not clear when I picked up the Uhaul. The reservation ended up costing me much more because of that. The service was not very nice either.

The website did not indicate that this location does not allow after-hour returns. It should warn the customer when the amount of time booked will require after-hour returns. For example, I said I would pick up at 9am, and need the truck for 13 hours -- the return time of 10pm is after-hours, and because this location does not allow after-hour returns, there should be a warning telling us this timing will not work. Because of this lack of oversight, we had to keep the truck for overnight and return the next day, causing more charges and causing me to miss work. Even the corporate representative said that this location should allow for after-hour returns. So either this location's employees made their own decisions, or there is a lack of communication between the location and corporate. Either way, this misrepresentation of information should NOT be allowed. As a customer, I am VERY frustrated and disappointed.

I had reserved the normal dolly as I had mostly boxes to move, Instead, they gave me furniture dolly. I had no furniture, so this these dolly's were quite useless for my purposes. This doubled my load and unload time, costing me additional $165 to pay to movers. Completely unacceptable .I had reserved normal dolly's How is it that they did not have it? I demand you give me credit for this rental. This was a terrible experience for me and the movers both.

Ramona, the person who handled our truck rental, was rude and unpleasant. This centered on the fuel for the truck upon return. Because it was checked out to me at a little below 3/8 tank, it was virtually impossible for me to refill it to that exact level, I tried, and was off by a gallon or two. Ramona wanted to grossly overcharge for that, yet would not even discuss the issue, let alone hear my point of view. Finally, she got angry, I referred to the "damn fuel", she stormed out saying I had sworn at her, and the issue resolved horribly. I ended up paying the $14.00 for what amounted to at most a gallon of fuel, ill feelings all around, and my opinion is that I never want to work with UHaul again. I would appreciate a response. Also, the truck itself was in mediocre condition.

The employee working the desk seemed easily agitated and annoyed. I had tried reserving a van via the online option and was in the middle of the process and the van was rented out from under me. Then while working with the woman in the office, we experienced an incredibly long wait time as she struggled to work the computer system. She was not friendly as she was to the couple that she worked with before me. I would not recommend renting from this location if the woman who was working on Wednesday July 18th is operating the location.

The woman who checked me in was very rude. She said over the phone I could rent the uhaul for longer than my reserved time of 6 hours with no additional charge but then the day of said that I couldn't. Then, there was trash in the uhaul I was about to rent that she made me remove myself. The uhaul was in disgusting condition and very poorly maintained. Other uhaul locations pull trucks out for you but she made me back it out on my own. Terrible experience, AWFUL location.

The pick-up process was messy, in part because the system was down.
The lady at the counter was courteous and patient. We appreciate that the van is new and in good condition. I am also glad this location is open on Sunday. The location is not hard to find and parking was easy, but the office is very small with very little packing supply if needed. The only major complain I have was the increase in my rental charge. When I booked my equipment online, the cost was $111, but we were surprise to be charged $144 instead when picking up. I had called the number on my confirmation email to let the office know I will be picking up the van later in the day. If that triggered an increase in cost, the person on the phone should have informed me at the time I called. I also find it very upsetting that when I wanted to show the office my confirmation email, it only provides a link and all the original information was erased. I find that very sneaky and really regret not printing out a hard copy to keep as proof. I talked to the employee at both locations, but nobody was helpful. Because of this bad experience, we will be trying out Budget truck for our next move.
