Trailer was missing wiring extension, was one of the older units on the lot and had seen better days. It operated well and didn't leak.

The process was difficult for an elderly person, my parents. Not everyone has a smartphone or email. The pick up process was frustrating for him. Luckily he had a friend with him who did own a smartphone but the process stll took them 30 minutes. Also the truck was not well maintained. Two flat tires during the move. One before even leaving the lot.

Your pricing is far above all other companies without any discounts for educators students AAA and in the future i would never ever ever ever rent from you nor would i ever recommend anyone rent from unhaul. Your franchise or employees are rude and disrespectful to clients and i had the worst time renting and returning. During the time we are in you would think you would have better customer service. I know for a fact i would rather drive an extra hour to return a truck then ever rent from unhaul again. Worst experience ever and this is not my first time renting a truck.

We made our reservation early so that we could have it at 8 am for our moving day. I got a call a week later asking if we could do 9 am. When I said no the lady told me I really didn't have another option even though I had made my reservation first. The day of moving we showed up at 8:50 am to start the online check in. We were on the lot for an hour because the store has two trucks returned at the same time and they put the mileage in wrong. We were told to wait 10 minutes until the manager got in. We had to call back after 20 minutes because we were going to be late to the closing on our new house. The lady finally told us it was fine to go but to take a picture of the mileage and gas. She called me back to tell me to not complete the online return I asked if there was some way to remedy the situation since we had such a bad experience. I was told they did the best they could, but I couldn't even get a call back when I watched the manager walk through the door. I will never use this location again, and I will not hesitate to caution others from using them as well.

The staff at this location were friendly and helpful even with all this pandemic stuff to deal with and having to work over the phone and online and only in person as required. The only issue I has was trying to extend use of rentals a few hours more and got charged for a 2nd day although things were returned within 24 hours.

The problem came with pickup and return. We did not have a smart phone and upon return could not get the program needs. Had to pay $20 extra because we could not get return completed

I had no idea that the uhaul I rented would have went so absolutely terrible that I'm calling customer service first thing in the morning. I was told my reservation was a for 24 hours and b at 9am. But my online banking app and the rental agreement say otherwise. I am currently racking up charges and I have no idea why your company has charged me 2 more times afer my initial 189 plus tax. I also went over my reservation and it was told to me I had 24 hours and also that it was for 9am so to my surprise when I showed up to rent my uhaul I was told rudely that my reservation was for almost noon. Then to check in through my phone was another ordeal that had me so frustrated bc my data was off and my phone wasn't getting good service from wifi so it lengthened my already late start to an even longer one. I rented a dolly for a day but because my 24 hour rental somehow turned into a 48 hour rental so I was charged extra for the dolly along with other charges I did not use and still billed for. I had the worst moving experience due to the series of events that took place at your business and started badly and ended badly too. It was horrible start to finish and will use Ryder if I ever need those services again

Only problem I have is uhaul requires u to twist chain so it doesn't drag the ground twisting a chain can cause it to brake if if put under stress better solution would be to have extra chain clasp that u can put chain together to avoid twisting chain

I had to drop the trailer myself. There should be someone there to hook up and unhook trailers. But I will say that I did end up with a good trailer, which worked good and had the new hitch release which was great compared to your old twist knob hitch lock. It made dropping the trailer easier.

If the customer has to be unconvinced for lack of equipment, then the customer should at least be accommodated adequate additional mileage that will need to be traveled.

I arrived with the truck about an hour after closing time on Saturday afternoon. I was planning to do a 24/7 drop-off, but then the lady came out and said that she was still there, so she would be happy to check the truck in. Everything went very smoothly, and I was out of there in about 20 minutes. Great location, and great service!

My only issue had nothing to do with Macomb location itself. When registering online, it appeared that I would be able to pick up my Uhaul Trailer in Galesburg, IL. However, I later got a call that said that I would have to drive an hour to Macomb to pick up the trailer. Doesn't make a lot of sense that I was able to select which location to pick it up but then wasn't even close to the nearest Trailer of my selection.
