The person running the location seemed nice enough, however, the actual truck condition was really unacceptable. The inside had mud all over it. The back of truck also did (I think it was mud, but honestly smelled like manure), which was terrible because i had to lay boxes on the ground (which I had to throw away) so my items wouldn't get mud/manure allnover it. The gentleman at the location said he didn't have time to get it clean and I didn't have time to figure out a new vehicle. I sent all pics through the link.

No one was on site at my pick-up time. I had to call them and he was there 15 minutes late. His printer was not working and he didn't provide me a hard receipt. After I returned the trailer via after hours procedures I noticed he charged me two days of Safe Travel ($8/day) for $16 which I didn't request, I put that in a note on my After hours turn in. I also sent a reply email and again today with no answer yet. This has been a terrible experience for me from start to and still not finished yet.

The lady who was working Friday afternoon and Saturday morning needs training in customer service. When I made my reservation for the uhaul the website site stated the location opened at 9 AM, so I set the pick up for 9. When I got the confirmation text the day before pickup it stated the reservation was for 10 AM, so I called to see why the reservation was changed. She was very rude with her answers, said that's because we don't open until 10. I told her then she needed to tell whoever set the hours online needed to fix it. She said, "well, do you want it or not" in a voice like I was just bothering her and she really didn't care at all. On the day of pick up, she was not even at the store on time. We got there just before 10 AM. She didn't show up until almost 10:15. The most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with while renting a Uhaul.

Maybe, he said just throw the keys in the box that's all I had to do so I hope everything got there it got gas he sure didn't say anything this man didn't want to know any invoice numbers and the identification numbers no license nothing I'd have to think about it but I thank you very much U-Haul Winchester was the best U-Haul ever

The U-Haul system was down the location employee tried to call U-Haul support after 3/4 of an hour on hold the person said he had to call another number and another 20min wait and she was not able to correct a pricing issue different from the reservation.

The only walk through that was done upon my securing the truck was the Leaser checking to see if the gas tank was full. When I drove the truck to my home, The molding around the windshield had blown completely on top of the truck.I called the local dealer, he came to my residence, pushed it back in place and said "It will be ok." I drove it and by the time I got to my destination, it had rolled back again. Enough said.

I had a substitution due to my U-Haul accidentally being cancelled. I was told I'd receive a discount (charged for the 15' I ordered sense all they could find for me was a 26' to substitute) never received the discount which was disappointing. Otherwise, acceptable experience.


No one was at the location. Everything was done over the phone. Seemed a little weird to me. Not certain how the business works with no employees on site.

I showed up for 2 PM pick up, no one was on site when I arrived. I called the local number to let them know I was there. No one answered so I left a message. I proceeded to hook up the trailer I rented hoping someone would call or show up. After I had the trailer hitched up and was ready to go I called the reservation line to find out what I needed to do to be able to leave the site with the trailer. They were unable to allow me to proceed without check out from the site. They were able to track someone down but they already had customers ahead of me and I would have to wait. I waited with great frustration for an hour and 45 mins for a 2 PM pick up. When the owner of the site showed he thought I was dropping off, which I explained I was picking up. He was shocked that I had hooked it up by myself, then took two pictures apologized for my wait and off I went. This was a horrible experience with not having someone available on site to assist me and get me on my way along with not one at the reservation center being able to assist me instead of making me wait for someone to show up on site.

I ordered a 10ft truck and Tow Dolley, Appliance Dolley, and appliance blankets. I got to the original location, and they told me I must be at the wrong place because they don't have a 10ft truck. Then, they saw my name on the schedule, but I was assigned a 15ft truck... but they didn't even have one of those for me either. I got told to wait 2 hrs (delayed me on packing) to pick up a 15ft truck (which is more expensive and hurt my finances) from a sketchy place. I finally got the truck and Tow Dolley, but was told that I would no longer be getting an Appliance Dolley (which sucked, big time). I haven't had time to check and see if I still got charged for the Appliance Dolley, but I will and will seek a refund on that part if need be. Honestly, the whole process sucked. Yeah, the truck worked fine and was clean; however, U-Haul upgraded me to a 15ft truck without my knowledge (we're on a very tight budget, and of course I would not be able to cancel the truck the day of), didn't give me the Appliance Dolley (made moving stuff down a flight of stairs and then up 2 flights of stairs a pain in the rear), and delayed my packing because they didn't have a truck for me at the location I requested. I will be sure to advise my friends and family to not use U-Haul. It sucked, bad.
