Rental process was a failure and very poor customer service. Truck I confirmed in person the day before was given to another customer and no phone call made to advise me. Manager simply blamed Uhaul even though he handed contract and key to the other customer.

the service at this location was excellent - the ONLY problem was related to the time the store opened. The hours start at 10 AM which put me 2 hours behind my schedule. One unrelated issue is - I ordered the truck from the Florham Park location which offers earlier pickup hours. For unknown reasons you switched the pick up me to Madison. This is annoying to say the least.

Woman in the store could not help me had to call her husband at home to take care of it said I had no reservation and first said I had to return van back to the store! Terrible experience there the next time I rent from uhaul if I have to go there I will cancel my plans

Had an excellent experience with Pack Ship N More and renting a Uhaul van last minute. Representative went out of his way to ensure I could have a rental that day. The van that i rented was brand new, clean and with only 937 miles on it. Price for the rental period was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Pack Ship N More for all Uhaul needs, packing supplies (they have any size box you need) and shipping!

At pick-up I pointed out some bumper damage to the representative. I was told it was not an issue. After I returned the vehicle the representative called to tell me he was going to report some minor bumper damage to UHaul and that I would be charged for it. -- The damage he pointed out was more minor in nature than the crack I had highlighted at pick-up, and did not occur during my rental period. -- I have learned not to trust the rental representatives and will take full video footage of any vehicle I rent in the future. I plan to dispute any charges of fault for damage.

I ordered a hand cart/dolly and furniture pads which were NOT in the truck. I picked up the truck before store hours so had to go out and BUY a handcart (adding miles to the truck). Also, they do not tell you that after you find the truck you have to go ALL the way around the shopping center to their store to get the key in the lock box.

I was given a new pick up location way to car from my home and was not given miles for my move. Secondly I also had to call to make arrangements for a diff time. Which ur company was not willing to help until it came up with a solution. I will def review this on social media and would not use u again

Used the mobile drop off forms. The site failed 3 straight times when uploading a photo so there is definitely some bugs that need to be fixed but eventually it went through and the drop off was very easy.

Owner of the store wanted me to drive the truck to a different drop off location that was 30 minutes away. I said 'no', I can't. owner then asked me to drive the truck around back and park it there which was a 1/4 mile from the store. I did what she asked and walked back to the store. Then, the male owner called me and threatened to charge me $25 for parking the truck on the grass, as there was no available parking in the lot they sent me to. An employee for the owner saw where I parked the truck and said it was fine when she met me there to check the mileage and gas. This has been a very poor experience. I am very upset and will never do business at this drop off location again.

Staff was slow and couldn’t handle just two customers. Truck was given to me with low tire pressure warnings and low gas. Checkout, even with prior reservation, took 45 minutes.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul or any other moving company . I had a reservation for 10 AM and the lady showed up late and didn’t even unlock the door until 10:10 AM . She then proceeded to be super slow and pretty much unhelpful. She was having computer and Internet problems and my thought was if she had been at work on time she could have had that fixed before I arrived . Because of her lateness I was late to my appointment . Upon returning the vehicle again she was super slow and sent an employee out to check the gas meter on the car. She was still having problems with her computer and the kid took so long to grade the gas meter I ended up leaving and she said she would email me my final cost. when I went out to get in my car the kid it was still in the truck on his phone and not doing his job. I still have not gotten an email with my final cost it’s been four hours . Not only that but I feel like I was overcharged given that I only drove the truck 12 miles and I was supposed to be charged only 19.99 for the day and 1.09 per mile. They quoted me 59.60 at the time of rental but I still haven’t got the final. Next time I’ll go somewhere else .

I was charged $5. for dolly that I never requested or received. I was charged $5.00 for blankets I never requested or received. I received the truck on 1/4 gas tank full. I returned the truck with 1/2 gas tank. I was told I cannot receive a credit on the fuel. I was never told that the daily rental was by the mile and that the per mile charge was $1.99. I was never offered an explanation other than this is the weekend rate and I can cancel the contract if I do not like the price. I think your franchisee is unprofessional and illequiped to handle customers. I will never use Uhaul again and I am going to make sure that everyone knows your rates your service and your inability to assist customers.
