This was the worse experience ever.. I originally arrived at another Uhaul location and was directed to this location due to tow dolly. Unfortunately I had already removed my car off tow dolly at previous Uhaul location, but was told that Harbour shouldn't have a problem bringing me back to my car due to Uhaul to Uhaul and the close location. I arrived at Harbour location and was greeted by the assistant who was very nice. Due to the reservation change, she call the owner Megan Harbour to come to office for assistance. Megan pulled into the parking lot really fast and stormed into the office. After getting confirmation of final price from 800UHAUL, she then relayed the information to me. I then requested for a break down of charges. Megan gives me the awkward stare as if I should not have asked that question and then replies, you didn't turn the truck in to the correct location, what do you expect. From then on, every question I attempted to ask, Megan interrupted me only to repeat the same information, information that did not answer my question. I kindly asked Megan why do she have a attitude, she replied that I have a attitude with her and she is just responding to what I am giving her. At that point I knew that I was not going to get anywhere with Megan so I then asked for a ride up the street to get my car from other Uhaul location. Megan again interrupted me telling me that the policy of Harbour Gaurage and Towing say that they do not give rides. I replied, I am only at Harbour for Uhaul, not the garage. Megan then said that she didn't even have any vehicles to give me a ride in even though it was less than 5 miles away. I then asked what should i do in my situation and from the information that i was told. Megan replied that You better figure that out and then gives me a nasty look and cross her arms. I then got up and proceeded to walk out the office and waited outside in the cold while someone picked me up.

Pickup location said that the drop off location would help me unhook the trailer. Upon arrival, I was told where to "leave it" with no help offered. I didn't mind unhooking it by myself and rolling it to where it needed to be, but would have been nice to at least offer.

The problem wasn't as much the drop off location as it was the attendant I spoke with when I dropped off both pieces off earlier than scheduled. I was nine miles over the allowed mileage per the agreement. This was due to taking a MUCH safer route verses what U Haul and GPS routed. Both routed me going through a mountainous terrain on two lane roads which I know all too well. I chose the route that was Interstate and four lane roads that allowed for much safer travel. Granted this added mileage to my trip which also cost me more gas at 8 MPG but the safety of my family and I, especially driving a vehicle that size and towing a vehicle, was an easy decision. Emily, I believe her name was, wasted no time sending me a bill for nine miles overage while I was explaining this to her. I actually received it via email while I was on the phone with her. I was also asked to leave the vehicle parked, unlocked, with the keys above the sun-visor, in order for it to be rented again. This is after U-Haul has made nearly $700 off of me but I get charged an extra $4 as I'm explaining why I chose a safer route! I also shared with the attendant that the vehicle needed wiper blades and and the right mirror was unmovable, to which had no effect. It is not as much the $4 as it is the customer service. I left the vehicle cleaner than I received it, explained why I went over the allowed mileage by $4 (to which she said at one point "it's only $4), saved an employee from Harbor's from coming out on a Sunday so U-HAUL could make even MORE money from someone else by taking direction from someone I'm not employed by which leaves YOUR company at risk of having a vehicle stolen! I called back after thinking about our conversation and spoke with the same representative. She said she would send a message to her manager to get the $4 refunded along with some sort of $50 something. I seen nor heard anything regarding that but I have seen the $4 deducted from my checking account. This all happened around 5:30 pm on July 1, 2017. This was my first experience with your business and may very well be my last. It's not the $4 that is bothering me as bad as the poor customer service. I feel like an ATM, not a valued customer. In case this goes somewhere that does not have access to my email, it is I would like to hear how this will be resolved. Thank you. Ted Anderson

Staff was very courteous & prompt. The original equipment requested was too small for what I needed to haul but they were able to change the request & give me what I needed for the job. Very satisfied. Will use them again in the future.
