I prefer to speak to an actual person in the store and not from a call center. When I picked up the truck, I literally waited 20 mins inside the store before a person came to wait on me. This seemed excessive to me. I had people waiting on me at the house to start moving. I kept calling and was on hold while I was literally standing in the store. Very frustrating. The general manager extended my time by an hour, and said "if you need more time, just call and we can extend your time." I needed more time and was told via the call center that I could extend it, but I would be charged an entire 2nd day! That was not clearly stated at the store. Just frustrating when I have already shelled out a lot of money for this move to get charged a 2nd day. There should be an extra fee for extra time by the hour unless it exceeds a certain amount of time. Doubling the cost for 1 extra hour seems too excessive to me as well. Signs were not clear how to do an after hours truck return. The truck was extremely nice.

The cost for 1 way rental was extremely too high and I will think twice before I ever rent again. I have talked to several people and none of them could believe the cost.

My truck I rented was so unsafe to drive I returned it a full day early. Side mirror wsd busted when I picked it up. Mgr replaced it but every bump I hit moved it to the point you couldn't see in it. I stayed in right lane at all time cause I couldn't see to change lanes. Window was rolled down and it rained. While trying to roll window up it came off track. Had to drive in the rain with window down. I got soaked. Pull on door rest to get up in truck and it came off and I fell backwards. Terrible experience for me and my family. Thank you Jeff Rawlins

Jacob at the Middletown location was outstanding. When the truck we reserved was not back he let us have a size larger unit at the same price. He handled the paperwork and we were on our way quickly. On return, the check-in was painless and quick. It is obviously a busy location but he took the time to make sure we had what we needed. Nice job.

I worked with Jeff for a last minute exchange from a tow dolly to a car hauler. This happened right at closing time. Jeff was understanding and kept the store open (past closing time) to accommodate my needs. Please tell Jeff that he did an outstanding job and that customers really appreciate the extra effort! I had attempted to rent from a U-Haul location closer to a storage unit I had used. Previously, I had rented from a U-Haul that was 2 miles from the storage unit. With three months notice Uhaul could not accommodate my request to rent etrailer from the same location. Instead I was forced to rent from this location on Verity Pkwy. This cost me an extra 45 minutes of driving between the storage unit in the U-Haul. Also, I found this Uhaul location to be in an undesirable neighborhood. This made me uncomfortable as a female renting a trailer. I was very dissatisfied with this situation. Also, I rented a dolly at $7 a day. The dolly was not put in the trailer. I called and informed Uhaul that I did not receive the dolly yeah it was still charged the $14 for a two-day rental. The entire move was made much more difficult because I did not have a dolly. I could not go back to Uhaul as the location was an hour away. This was my first negative experience with U-Haul and it will remain with me for quite some time.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience of my life. Taylor informed me he was going to smoke after a mileage discrepency. He wasted over an hour of my time because he didnt want to deal with the situation. He gave my family the wrong truck, and refused to make it right. I launched a complaint, Jacob Gross, the manager of the location closed out my complaint twice without ever contacting me. 4 days after the incident, he finally called back and tried to haggle with me over even fufilling uhaul's reservation guarantee. He stated that giving me the whopping 50 dollars back would raise too many questions and offered 25 instead. He then gave me the wrong number for his manager, and after much more time wasted, and tracking this woman down, she gave me the reservation guarantee refund, but refused to resolve any of the other issues that happened. (wrong truck, wrong mileage, 4 different pick up locations, three different drop off locations, wasted gas in the truck i ordered searching for where to drop the truck etc..) RUN SCREAMING IF UHAUL REFERS YOU TO THESE PEOPLE.

My truck rental was a catastrophe! The clerk at the desk initially would not rent the truck to me because of notations for mechanical problems. The manager intervened and told her to rent it to me. I was advised to ignore the brake warning light. I was told the brake warning audible would come on "occasionally". I had paid and volunteer help awaiting to help. The brake warning audible never went off. I had to pump the brakes to stop. No way to get on the highway. This was a previously reported problem left unaddressed by customers before me. I returned the truck and was told that the rental agency had nothing to replace it. I asked for help in locating a truck and was told that they could not access that information. I could not find a similar truck upon returning home and accessing the internet. I called every number that I could find to get help including Georgia and Arizona. National and regional persons could not help me. I was told $50.00 would be credited to my account. I lost my volunteer help and had to pay my paid help while I determined that I would not be moving that day or the next. (July 30 and July 31, 2016.) I had to stay beyond my check out time at my rental and delay the people that were moving in. I had to compensate those people for lodging until I could move. $50.00 would not begin to cover the costs that I incurred because I would not accept a mechanically deficient truck. Now I am told that the $50.00 was only to cover mileage costs to rent a truck elsewhere. I was not directed to a truck available elsewhere. I was not aided in finding another truck. I did not qualify for that $50.00. I have not been credited for that $50.00 eleven days later. Budget came to my rescue. Same daily rate. Same mileage charge. A clean and mechanically sound vehicle. U Haul has a bad history if you take the time to investigate it with regard to the refund to customers on their broken promises. I lost over a thousand dollars because I refused to take a truck with previously reported brake problems. Now I am being denied the $50.00 guarantee that they advertise. I will never consider U Haul again. I recommend Budget at the same price.

The staff needs some more training base on my experience. The supervisor, or who I believed to be the supervisor seemed to have a grasp on things, The other 2 people seemed confused about how to work the computer system when dealing with customers.

When we did not arrive right on the hour, call was made saying that if we were not there within next 30 minutes they would give truck to another customer. When a contract is signed for a two day rental, I was quite surprised by this. Had to call main U Haul office that we were on our way and not to give it away.

called the locatio,n was then sent to the web to reserve, then back to the location to make sure my vehicle was ok to use even though I gave you all the info you requested. The site kept going down as I tried to enter my info. No where did the renting info say I needed a second phone number- you have my dl#, phone #, credit card #, my veh tag # and I'm to I can't rent a trailer with out a second phone number. Your web interface to check me in and out is not up to modern standard and I watched it churn and churn. Printer was down for both check in and check out. Trailier was solid.

I made a reservation for a move, but I picked up the truck one day early. My reservation said that my mileage was .69 a mile. The supposed to be assistant manager put in .79 a mile on my contract. When I returned the truck I asked him about it and he was very rude. Then he tried to charge me extra and kept trying to run my card for the whole amount when they had already taken half of my total cost out. I was highly upset and tried to speak with a manager and he claimed the manager was gone for the day. I has a balance and I went to another location to complete my bill and had no problem.

I waited for 15 minutes ALONE inside the store trying to pick up a truck that I had reserved for that specific time, with NO employees in site to help me. I called the location (in case the phone would cause someone to appear), I called Customer Service, I knocked on windows & doors behind the computer counter, and finally found the one employee on staff underneath a car he was working on in some sort of garage off-limits to me, and even THEN he just held up a finger for me to 'wait'. The whole time, my ride was waiting in the parking lot with AC running in the car (it was over 90 degrees and baby was in the car) and when the employee finally came out, he didn't do a walk-around of the truck (which had a huge dent that I documented with pictures) and almost seemed upset that I had bothered HIM. Do yourself a favor and try a different location!!!!
