We were told we could drop the Uhaul off at any time the next day to the location we chose. When we went to return the Uhaul around 12:30pm the next day we were informed it was suppose to be back at 8:00am. This caused an issue for others who were going to use our truck that day. Jordan at the drop-off location on Waverly Rd. was awesome and helped us solve the overcharge issue that we incurred from the miscommunication from Gil-Roy’s. We left satisfied due to Jordan’s helpfulness.

I ordered online for a 26', 280 mile 2-way uhaul because there was a deal to save $60 if i returned the truck back to gilroys. I returned it monday night under the allotted miles and I was billed for a 79cent/mile in town rental. So instead of paying the agreed upon $170, i got billed for nearly $350. I called the number on the receipt to get this issue taken care of and they said someone would contact me via phone or email. Since then nobody has contacted me and the over-charge remains on my account. Ive never had issues like this with the local Mt. Pleasant rental store that ive used countless times. I dont understand how a mistake like this can even happen, and the lack of a hasty response from anyone is completely unacceptable.

You give mileage on a vague distance. I have to pay extra money because we had to drop at a storage unit and a house all in the same area. As if the 226 rental plus 60 for gas didn't kill my budget enough.

Inform the customer A seven pin to four pin lightning connector is needed I had to purchase a $14 adapter to plug your trailer lights into my vehicle when I already have two of the adapters at home on my trailers. I would’ve thought the trailer rental place would be to able to accommodate a seven or four pin plug without the customer having to spend an additional $14 to plug trailer lights

Gil Roys’ work crew was unprofessional. The manager left someone who didn’t know what they were doing to check me out and it took an extra ten minutes of waiting and the workers complaining to finally get someone to do their job. They definitely tried the “woman card” on me by telling me i had to purchase the 4 pin extension adapter and it took me calling my brother to get it turned around. Definitely would not go back here for a U-Haul again and would not recommend someone to do so either.

I was going one way, and I asked where was the closest Uhaul rental business was to drop the truck off when I was finished and they could not tell me, I had to locate that on my own. For better customer service I would recommend that you follow through for the coustomer. so its very easy. Thanks

Over charged my account by nearly $300 and now I have to wait 3-5 days to get it back. Do not click the save money button online, it's a lie to their customers. And the service representatives for uhaul are a joke

I would like to know why I was charged 1.10 for extra miles when I was told when I reserved the truck that all miles were included. I dont appreciate being told one thing and then being charged more money!

A lot of wait time and confusion over the rental. Not entirely their fault, but Uhaul sent me to the wrong rental site. I should have been sent to the Hitchin Post which actually had my order. Then my order was cancelled and they had to reinput. It was kind of a mess.I was back and forth across town getting the truck from one site and the trailer from another. You could do much better. I did end up with an old truck and much harder to drive (a lot of play in the wheel), larger than I wanted. But it all turned out okay. I think the ordering system should be upgraded.
