Location is gas/convenience store with single staff member on duty. He had to stop several times to take care of other customers while trying to complete my U-Haul contract. Wasn't his fault. Plus, this location was 22 miles away from my original reserved location.

It is conveniently located but does not have a lot of options for rentals. We needed a pick up truck and there were none there. They also do not have any Uhaul additional equipment to purchase at this location, as we needed an adapter for the trailer lights. However, the attendants were nice.

The agent difficulties with the computer. The booking was done from the drop off location, somehow the drop off got changed. On route to the I receive a call from a Uhaul dealer wanting to know when I would be dropping off the trailer. this was a totally different location. Training would come to mind

I was charged for oneway trailer use and I returned the trailer to the same yard I had picked up. The Uhaul Rep on phone told that there would be a credit if I return to the place I pick up. I did not receive a credit as the employee yard knew nothing about this when I inquired

It was a gas station convenience store and we had to wait in line for the guy to help me get my trailer because he was there by himself and he was helping all of the store customers first I was there a good 30 minutes thank you he would help me then he would excuse himself to go help the customer for the store and gas cash register for a store and his gas did that four times I almost walked out to a different rental yard

The U-Haul websites should state very clearly that reservations must be made in advance before picking up a truck. I wasted 1.5 hours because I could see a dozen trucks at a particular location, so I did not book in advance. When I arrived at the first location, there were no personnel on hand to rent the trucks. I finally called the 800 number, and booked at the location I rated above. What a waste of time, though, that could have so easily been avoided.

The guy who was working was super busy with the shell customers but was trying to get to me. He was awesome juggling it all. Very friendly.

I was given a reservation appointment time and arrived 15 minutes prior to my appt. The Shell gas station had no U-Haul attendant on duty and the clerk informed me, the u-haul rep had gone for the day and said I should return tomorrow to pick up the trailer. This was not acceptable as I had explained to the customer service rep who made my appt. I had to call customer service who said a field manager would respond to the location and there was supposed to be a u-haul rep at the location until 6pm.. After 45 minutes and no field manager, I called back and the customer service rep said they had asked the clerk to handle the rental over the phone. Fortunately, I was still able to rent the trailer despite the apparent lack of interest by the clerk to assist. I was given no paperwork or rental contract, no assistance was provided to connect the trailer or provide a safety inspection.

Need more counter help. Service attendant did a great job but needed assistance. He is only one person and needed another associate to assist with customer service.

I was scheduled to pick up in Cathedral City CA and when I arrived and waited in line for 30 minutes, the desk clerk then told me that my order had been transferred to N.Palm Springs CA. He said I should of rec'd a text and email about this. I received neither. This was a waste of time and very frustrating.

Was not notified that location was inside a gas station and would not be staffed after hours. No option for after hours drop off of a trailer. Even though I called after hours Uhaul to notify of my drop off that occured after hours and two days prior to end of rental term, I have received a bill for two additional days of rental, because this location didn't check their lot over the weekend. Not cool!

When i made my reservation online i chose Uhaul because of the location! When i showed up to pick up my truck at that location it was not there... and then having found some obscure follow up email you informed the truck was at a different location from where i had originally chosen. The chosen location was only a "Preferred" pick up site!! Now i don't know what F'n V.P, in your company that probably got a raise...came up with this stupid idea! You cant Jerk people around when they make a planned reservations at both Pick up and drop off and think its okay to send them to other locations to get there truck! It cost me a $40 cab ride out of my way to go to that other location to get my truck.. (which should be reimbursed asap!) I spoke to Sylvia the area manager in Palm Springs and she said she would! Have not seen that yet!! Then when I got to my destination I got another email stating that my "Preferred" location for drop off would not be available,,, ABSOLUTE BS! Your customers choose locations for Pick up and Drop for many different reasons.... NOT to make it easier for you,,, ever hear of customer satisfaction! When a reservation is made at a location the truck should be there or have it delivered on site by Uhaul personnel from wherever it is!! This basically amounts to "BAIT and SWITCH"! The Attorney General would probably have something to say about this practice! I've used Uhaul in the past and this was this first time this issue has come up! I don't know if its a new policy for you, but it SUCKS! I will definitely reconsider who I rent with in the future!

clerk did not no how to check in U haul trucks, so he just took the keys and so on the next day when my truck got checked in, they charged me for another day use. I am not happy and will be disputing those charges.
