Location was not where we reserved and was not told till night before. When we did get there, we were told they didn't have a one way truck which is what we had reserved. Had to call corporate to get it straightened out. It delayed our move by 2 hours.

They would not honor the contract they said they don't take trucks they don't rent. They tried to get me to call uhaul. I refuse, I insisted they call. After they called they then took the truck. I never thought a uhaul dealer would not be customer service oriented. I am going to check next time before I do a one way long distance rental.
When I returned the vehicle they didnt want to deal with me. The girl at the register apparently didnt know how to do it or wasnt authorized to do it and called on someone else to help. She yelled out " This lady is dropping off Uhaul and doesnt want the reciept emailed and wants to wait" The lady responded well she will have to wait I will be with her in a little bit! I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas that I picked it up at, it was not all the way on F and now I am being charged 11.25 for fuel? I have a reciept and thats the reason I wanted to wait for a reciept. I couldn't wait 20 plus minutes.
This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. You switched the type of truck, the location, the moving time and the drop off time on me within a few days prior to my move. Not only that but getting the keys out of the lock box was a nightmare. Because you downsized the truck I was able to use (after specifically requesting a 15 foot truck) my roomate and I were forced to take multiple trips almost missing our move in time and date. Not to mention your phone service sucks. Every time I called it it would take at a minimum 25 minutes to get an agent on the line. I will never be using UHaul again, you are an atrocious company that I couldn't recommend LESS to any friends and family of mine.
I picked the 15 ft truck around 4 pm, and was suppose to bring it back next day by 4 pm, since rental is 24 hours. After 24 hours by 4 pm of next day I got charged for 2 days double.
Was not able to get the answers I was looking for. and felt like my representative didn't care.
This is a difficult time for everyone. People are trying to be as safe as possible. There was no structure in this facility. Employees weren't respecting 6ft social distancing. They were constantly taking off their masks. My igual was dirty and dusty. It wasn't clean when I got in. Clearly the staff wasn't interested in keeping a customer.
First they didn't except my online order. I wanted oneway they said they only rent locally. Next they were very rude Next the equipment broke down
Return process for after hours is horrible. Online process did not work.
More communication, unit had a low tire, I drop unit early, was not told I had to send pic and my location when drop off unit, had to drive back to do so, and got charged extra
The transaction was so smooth and fast.

I first went to JC Printing works and was told all of a sudden I needed to drive 30 mins south (out of my way) to pick up this UHAUL truck at Show Flooring. They took forever to find the keys for the truck and had difficulties checking me out. They told me I needed to drop it off same day when I had a reservation for 24 hours. Then when dropping it off the next day (early), I was greeted by the same people who checked me out to begin with. They acted clueless that I was dropping off a truck even though they helped me out the previous day. Had to wait even longer just to drop off the truck. Overall horrible experience with UHAUL
They gave me a hard time over my reservation guarantee credit and even tho after I rented a truck and returned it way earlier than the day it was supposed to be returned . They charged me 3 more days than what I was reserving. They charged me for extra gas also even tho it was returned the same way I took it .Called to get the money back . They said they have to file a ticket first which will take 3 days. I don't know why I have to wait for 3 days to get my money back . Horrible experience
first truck we were given did not have the amount of gas that it said when we signed the contract so then we had to wait another 20 minutes while they changed us to a different truck. Also, the return process online was not working, so I had to call and I was on hold for over 30 minutes just waiting to speak to someone to help me return the truck.
Entering the facility and requesting the rental, I was told they vans were not running and there was no Uhaul vehicles available for rent. When I mentioned I had a confirmation from the day before, I was then given the Uhaul rental with no problems. Strange.
First, I got overcharged by about $60. I got the money refunded right away, but had to bring this to UHaul attention. I passed through tolls without a transponder. I paid my missed tolls directly to Illinois Tollways, but UHaul kept on putting extra unauthorized charges on my credit card for the missed tolls.
Fix your mobile pick up system. It could find my location. It was not a problem with my phone either.
Everything was perfect
First of all, I want to say that I have rented from U-Haul on mulitiple ocassions and never before had any problems. This was a terrible experience! The van was very dirty (both cab & cargo area) and there was a light in the cargo area dangling from the ceiling. The fuel tank was nearly empty at pickup (probably about a 1/16 full and there were no pads provided, although I paid for them. When I returned the vehicle, there was no apology and was asked if I felt entitled to a clean vehicle and good service. Very rude and uncaring. They said there was nothing they could do and were very aggravated that I suggested they could do better. I feel I should be reimbursed for what was not provided and receive a significantly discounted price. I would think U-Haul would not want their customer's treated in this manner. I expect a prompt reply!!
The truck could have used a quick wipe down, otherwise everything was fine. The folks at the pick-up location were very friendly.

Was supposed to pick up truck at another location and have moving pads and hand carts did not get either and yet I had to pay for them am dissatisfied with U-haul.
