Ended up paying $40 in gas even when we returned it with the correct amount of gas. The price per gallon is absurd and there should be someone who walks out and goes over the gas with you so there isn't a discrepency.ELISE V.

I rented a Uhaul and prepaid, when I arrived at the store the Uhaul was stuck in the woods and I had to personally get the vehicle unstuck to rent it, the vehicle was completely empty and I returned it with more fuel then what was in it originally. I have never experienced this type of service from UHaul before and I have rented many times.Matthew M.

Agent was not familiar with contract-â€œSafe Move Plusâ€ was added to my contract without my approval. Rental agent thought that the $129 would be refunded to me if the vehicle arrived undamaged. The charge was refunded to me as I declined the coverage. The truck I rented had an unreported dent behind the passenger door. The agent was unfamiliar on how to deal with the dent, and did not have a way to mark the noticed damage (with a black â€œXâ€?). He annotated the damage on my contract before I drove the truck away from his lot. The truck ran great and my move was uneventful, after the â€œsketchyâ€ pickup experience.Craig K.

I am an active duty military officer and have moved with a UHaul many, many times all over the United States and have always had a pretty positive or extremely positive experience until this return. The Uhaul location at "Grab N Go" at 7261 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale PA 15071 was absolutely horrible! I was late arriving to PA from MO on 21 July 2019 due to the construction all along I-70. I called the "Grab N Go" at 7:45pm to ensure it was a 24/7 drop-off location (like I had reserved) and the clerk told me I could only return the unit until 8pm. I was not done unloading the unit until 10:45pm so returned it today, 22 July 2019 at 8:00am. The clerk did not know how to complete the return and told me her manager would call me when he got in. I left without her looking at the vehicle to verify condition, gas, mileage or number of blankets. The manager called me at 11:00 and was extremely rude from the moment he got on the phone because I had accidentally left my lock on the back of the truck and told me I would be charged for an extra day because he had no proof I tried to bring it back the evening before. I immediately drove back to the Grab N Go Uhaul location to remove the lock. The manager was with another customer, so after removing the lock, I waited to speak with the manager. After 10 minutes (he was still with the other customer) he asked why I was still there and what I wanted. I told him I had removed the lock but wanted to verify I was completely checked in and to discuss the extra blankets I had gotten on a separate contract number (93581386) and how I wasn't able to get the vehicle returned last night. He then starts almost yelling at me and tells me he won't get to checking the vehicle in for another 1-2 hrs so I will have to wait. At that point I left because I have just arrived to town and have appointments with a realtor before I have to report to the military base for work later today. This Uhaul location was also extremely messy and unprofessional; it is a tiny convenience store that sells anything and everything, so completely disorganized and messy. They do not have any items for sale to help with your move (boxes, tie-downs, locks, tape, etc) and I had to wait for over 20 minutes when I initially tired to return the Uhaul because of the people buying lotto tickets that the clerk kept pulling in front of me in line. Renting Uhauls and dealing with customers doing moves is obviously not this location's main business and the manager was not at all worried about providing a good experience for me. I will probably use Uhaul again because this was my first bad experience, however, I will NEVER go to a Uhaul location that is not an actual Uhaul store based on this move and the experiences with both the MO and PA locations.Katrine W.

I booked an address in Moon and the Day before we were to pick my 10 foot truck up, I found out my pick up spot got changed along with my pick up time (we requested noon and got one o'clock) . We showed up at one and our truck wasn't returned so at close to 2, they gave us a 20 foot for the same price. They handled our situation as well as could be expected.James G.
The absolute WORST experience ever. The employee at pickup insisted they didn't have a trailer, even though there was one outside and I called one hour prior to verify it was ready. She then set the contract up for 2 days even though my reservation was for one. When I tried to correct this at pickup things got ugly. Also the employee at pickup would not help with hookup. I could barely get it hooked up because it was a very heavy 6x12 enclosed trailer and the tongue was on the ground. When I returned it 23 hours later the employee argued with me that I had it 2 days... (I picked it up at 142 pm on Friday and returned it at 1:30 Pm on Saturday...).i handed him my copy of the contract to show him the time I picked it up- he refused to give me my copy back and He then refused to check it in because it was not parked in the same spot that I picked it up from. (It was 3 parking spots down from where I picked it up because there was another U-Haul and 2 other cars next to it). He made many profane statements and actually flipped me off. I told him I was going to make a complaint with U-Haul and contact the credit card company to make sure he did not charge me for more than one day...he said â€œDo what you gotta doâ€ and flipped me off again... you can't make this stuff up. avoid this place at all costs It should get negative stars!!Douglas J.
