Terrible customer service, the rep quoted me .79 cents a mile and charged me .99 cents a mile. When I called to have him fix it he said he was new and didn't know how. The manager got on the phone and tried to say there is no difference and if I would have rented the vehicle whether it was .99 or .79. Its the principle of the matter, that if you quote something that is clearly online to correct the price and offer a price adjustment. This place is a dump! And these people clearly don't know how to run a business. Stay away! Make sure you rent from a legit UHAUL not these 3rd party providers.

Our pick up destination was suddenly changed to this location barely 20 minutes before we were supposed to arrive to our original location without a phone call to let us know, only an email that didn't even mention outright that it had been changed. Only with looking into the email in more detail did we realize that it had been changed. And then once we arrived we found out that they had also changed our time to 3 and a half hours later. The man there told us we couldn't pick up yet due to the trailer not being brought back yet even though there was a trailer of the same dimensions that we requested out front not being used or rented out. So we went back home and came back later, wasting our day and gas driving back and forth. When we arrived at the new time the man at the store told us that the person who rented the trailer before us still hadn't brought it back yet. So we proceeded to wait another half an hour outside of the store while he called the other client requesting for our trailer to be brought back. Needless to say, we waited for the wrong trailer. Our trailer that we were renting was the one out front. The one we could have picked up at our original time. The guy couldn't be bothered to double check our information and which trailer we were waiting for with us and we ended up wasting over 4 hours of our time there. There is also VERY little space to pick up a trailer there and you are forced to hook up on the side of a busy highway where midday traffic buzzes past you going 40 mph. The whole time while hooking up we were worried about getting hit by cars passing us. We've been loyal Uhaul users in the past but this whole experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, leaving us with looking for other options for our future trailer rentals. For any other Uhaul customers out there I would avoid this location at any cost.

Please don't advertise the use of your app without it working. The idea of having the app and using it to get your rental is an awesome idea... U-Haul has just failed to execute it. I tried using it on my iPhone 8 to get my rental truck and while going through the process of uploading my picture the app would crash. I tried it in the Safari browser and the same thing. It was very inconvenient.

We were supposed to pick up our truck at 8am. No one was there (the location wasn't open) until after 8:30, which made us late for our move and caused us to rush through pick-up.

I reserved a 26 foot truck in Spanish Fork. What I got was a 20 foot truck in Orem, requiring an extra 20-mile drive each way to pick it up. I was unable to fit all of my stuff in the 20 foot truck, requiring an extra trip in my move. U-Haul told me my "reservation" was subject to availability. Sorry, but that isn't a reservation. That is a request. Not being able to rely on having the equipment you need, where and when you need it, is a big problem, since move dates generally aren't flexible.

Good Guys of Orem was moving next door, but there was no problem or issues with the return. Receipt was sent quickly, next morning.

They were not open when they said they would be (30 min late). One tire had a big crack in it and flat spotted and they would not replace it and did not offer any options or a spare & I was driving 1100 miles to drive with the dolly. We did not like being charged for 3 days when we only needed 2 days. Talked me into the insurance but would not give us a different tire. Seemed very unfamiliar with paperwork - had to do it twice, took awhile to find reservation. I had drove 800 miles (all night) to help my father-in-law who was stranded.

The only problem we had with the process was with the online checkin. It got our reservation mixed up which made for a frustrating start. But the location was great. Just the online system was flawed.

I rented a two wheel car dolly. The employee at the location hooked up the dolly to my truck. Upon unloading the towed vehicle the hitch came loose from the ball of the truck and damaged my tail gate. I trusted the employee had secured the hitch properly to the ball but had that happened the hitch would not have come loose. I have submitted an insurance claim to U-haul

Check out and check in process was not smooth. Customer Service was poor. Nobody seem to know what they were doing. I was told my dozen furniture pads would be in the truck. They weren’t. When I asked for a refund, I was told I would have to contact U-Haul directly because they couldn’t take care of that.

the place was understaffed, apparently due to someone not showing up for work. The rental truck/trailer was unassembled, so I was required to do the assembly myself, which was a little daunting, but accomplished, eventually. Previous visits, this was not so. I ended up having to go to a different U-Haul dealership to get the utility dolly, as the night crew apparently did not know the difference compared to an appliance dolly. It has been a awhile since I rented the truck/trailer assembly, so I missed attaching the safety chains around the axles, discovering the one about 60 miles into the trip and the other about 250 miles into the trip. This could have been disastrous, luckily not. . . It would have been nice to have a checklist on things to do when attaching a car to the trailer, that the customer is required to sign off on and to bring with when renting a trailer. Otherwise, the trip went smoothly.

I was disappointed with some of the safety features of the trailer I rented. The rubber pieces used to keep the hooks engaged on the safety chains and emergency brake were missing. I asked the attendant at the desk about the missing pieces and he said he didn't have any more, and that he didn't know what to do about it. He then went and removed some from another trailer, but the rubber pieces were cracked and broken. I was able to make them work, but was not comfortable with the solution. If I assume responsibility for any damage to the trailer, then all safety features should be in place and working.

I was originally not going to complain about the experience dealing with the person on the phone and at the counter(same person) however after being overcharged I will. The employee was uninformed and I spent over 20 minutes reserving the rental on the phone having to provide my information 3 times only to show up 10 minutes later to pick it up and have to give it all to him again. He did not appear to know what he was doing. He was probably new but the other person there was very unhelpful in assisting him to help speed up the process. Then when I returned the rental they were very busy and the same employee that helped me pick it up just took the keys and said you are good to go. I should have insisted on him checking it in while I was still there but I decided to trust them. I later got a phone call from the same employee again requesting my info including credit card number as he said it didn't go through the first time. I later received an emailed receipt that included an insurance charge I had declined at the time of renting and 2 charges for not refueling the truck even though I returned it with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up. When he called be back to get my info again it was not because it didn't go through but to run my card again for the additional charges. He made no mention of this when he called me back. At that time it was too late to contact the rental dealer so I called Uhaul corporate and submitted a dispute. This was 2 days ago and I have not heard back from anyone. I am going to call them again and if not immediately resolved I will dispute the charge with my CC company.

Tell the customer to go borrow his/hers neighbors truck. U-HAUL can suck my ass, pricing is redicilous and I payed more than I was planning on, and I only had the truck for an hour. $100 for an hour. Really? Next time I’ll go suck my neighbors dick to borrow his truck. And then I’ll fill up his gas tank to full just because helping others is what good people do. I made a mistake today of going with U-HAUL, still angry about it and I never get angry. Would not recommend obviously.

When I picked up my trailer I stated that I was going to drop it off at another location. I was told that would not change my rate. I was charged $300 dollars vs. the $30 dollars that I was told.
