Horrible customer service, not only was I over charged, but I was also yelled at by the owner and hung up on when I called about the over charge. I would NEVER go back to that place nor would I recommend it to anyone. If anything, I recommend to STAY AWAY!!!!!

Prevent people from smoking near the doorway. Make it clear where incoming vehicles should be parked. Don't be rude to the customers.

Not likely U-Haul's but the independent contractor at this location had computer issues the day of my pickup, He noted that it was your booking software that was causing the delays. Was finally able to get the cargo van I rented after 2 hours of waiting. It sounded like he had just had a bad night and it rolled into the next day.

The auto body shop that shares the building with UHaul is not very friendly and highly territorial. I returned the truck after closing and parked as instructed. The back of the truck extended about 3 feet into the adjoining business' perceived space and they verbally complained. UHaul is fine, maybe need more parking space for vehicles returned after closing.

Made reservation on line. No one contacted me to confirm. Went to location the day before and he said they were going to be closed the day I was picking up and I wasn't contacted. Luckily he accommodated me. Location was not very organized or clean. Owner was nice though.

The man running this location has serious issues. He is inappropriate and unprofessional. He talks about himself and makes reference to drug use and driving under the influence. Because he is focused on talking about himself he is very slow at processing transactions. He also contradicts himself saying bring the truck back at 1 then says 2 and then when asked which is it, he says one. Very frustrating experience!

Had such a negative experience with Uhaul and I will do everything I can to avoid ever having to rent from them in the future. If I had to describe my experience in 1 word it would be SHAKEDOWN #1 - Made an online reservation for Sunday at the location in Pacifica. Luckily I called after to confirm and was informed that the location is closed. If I had not called then I would have showed up to a closed location and no truck. #2 - The advertisement for the truck is $19.99 per day plus mileage right. BUT no where do they give you a calculator of what that could be until you are at the shop and stuck. So for a 1 day rental and 50 local miles I was charged approx $89.00 I would have been able to get it cheaper from Home Depot or even Enterprise and with much better customer service. #3 - I had no choice but to accept the pricing. What else could I do at the last minute? I signed all the fine print (which no one reads by the way). Then before I left I was told to bring the gas back at full or I will be charged extra. I used the truck for 2 loads to the local dump. I didn't sweep out the bed of the truck and was charged $50.00 !! If I had known that I could have taken it to the wash for $12 bucks! but no one says anything because they want to charge you the extra money. TOTAL SHAKEDOWN. #4 - I left a personal item in the truck but it wasn't recovered. Overall experience was HORRIBLE and i will do everything I can to never use UHAUL again.

Simon is awesome. Only issue to raise is the fact that the UHaul network was not functioning properly him, so had to keep apologizing for the delay in getting me on my way.

I don't know if this was the fault of the location or U-Haul, but I made a reservation for a Sunday pick-up, only to find out that the location is closed on Sundays. I was able to make arrangements with the location manager, but it was still inconvenient.

The owner Simon Dimapasoc is a fantastic owner and represents Uhaul as a respectable and trustworthy company. He explained everything in detail, helped me out with loading and unloading, and just went out of his way to make me feel welcome and taken care of. I would highly reccomend him to my friends and family and if you can give this guy a raise or any type of accolade, please do. I normally don't write reviews, but Simon really did something special. The location and owner who helped me were great. Unfortunately there was a snafu with the website and me receiving a confirmation that the truck was indeed available - the email confirmation I got said to expect a phone call confirming the time I could pick up the truck. But the owner had to call me to say he had been waiting on me - and I had been waiting for a phone call! Things worked out but I wish the email communication with Haul was better. Thanks Inome

When arrived at location there has apparently been a glitch with the computer system and both me and the customer coming after me got declined for renting because we "have an outstanding issue with U-Haul" despite neither of us ever rented from U-Haul in the past. The person at the location was extremely helpful and called U-Haul immediately and got the problem sorted out. We kinda had to wait 30 minutes to get our keys but luckily it worked out eventually, despite 30 minutes wasted on this glitch. U-Haul should really consider fixing their computer systems next time to provide a better experience for their customers, especially new customers. The location was very helpful and nice and even provided me with a rope for free to compensate for this wasted time. Will definitely consider visiting again.

I was charged a cleaning fee after sweeping the truck and folding all of the blankets. I was charged for five gallons of fuels but return the truck with more fuel than when I rented it.
