This Uhaul vender was unreasonable unavailable most of the time was drinking jack Daniels at his desk and overcharged for any thing he could get away with. He charged me for my own blankets that I didn't fold correctly. For washing the window and mopping the floor which was swept out of all debrie.

The truck was too old (110k+ miles) and hard to drive. When you break it doesn't seem to disengage the engine sometimes and therefore hard to stop.

Simon was over the top helpful and thorough...his attention to detail in making sure the trailer was connected and safe for hauling. His explaination to returning the trailer was hepful and I was clear on every step of the trailer rental experience.

1) person on duty smoking in office when I arrived, almost took cig in truck I was going to take till I asked him not to. way chatty 2) I had reserved for a different location. understood that truck might not be available there, but not that UHaul wouldn't transfer the boxes, etc I had also ordered.

There was a location much close to where we wanted to pick up but were sent to this one. The communication about timing was poor. The reservation said 12noon but I was told they open at 9 and could pick up anytime after 9:15. At about 10am I got phone calls wonder why I didn't pick up yet and they close at noon. I had to go out of my way to get there already when there was a location right down the street. Poor location and poor communication.

I thought that u-haul charged a set rate for its mileage but not so at this place. Should have shopped around first. Ended up paying double what I would have paid at another u-haul location.

The guy running the place was a drunk asshole and ended up getting arrested because he hit our vehicle and was high on codine. Completely unacceptable. The entire time he kept saying please don't give me a bad review. I will be filing a claim to get my money back and u haul you should probably screen your franchiser.

I booked my reservation online for a 24 hour rental to pick up on Fri, 10/30 @ 3:30pm. On Friday morning, I received a voicemail from Simon at Pacifica Auto saying that there was no truck for me because it had already been rented out. I called back immediately and he took my name and phone number and said he would call back. I waited an hour and received no call back. I needed to know right away if I would have to make other rental alternatives since I was supposed to pick it up later that day. I called Simon back and no one answered. So, I called the 1-800 number to U-Haul and the rep confirmed that I had the truck and she even told me that they talked to Pacifica Auto and my reservation was confirmed. I then received an email confirmation from Pacifica Auto that I was also confirmed. A couple hours later, Simon calls me back to tell me that he doesn't have a truck for me. I was confused and told him I received 3 forms of confirmation through email and over the phone. He dismissed those confirmations and again said I don't have the truck. He called U-Haul and called me back to tell me that he had the wrong name and that I was confirmed (the reservation was booked under my parent's name). When I asked him to confirm that I had it for 24 hours, he said that I only had it for 6 hours. I told him that wasn't possible since in all my confirmations it clearly stated 24 hours. He said that the policy is only 6 hours. I couldn't believe this since I needed it for the next day and wasn't sure if I would be able to find a truck under short notice. I became very angry and he told me that there was no truck and that this was U-Haul's policy and not him since he is a franchise. I told him that doesn't mean anything to me and that he needs to provide me the truck for 24 hours as stated in my confirmation emails and phone confirmation. He said that U-Haul should not have confirmed this since its out of policy. Eventually he called U-Haul himself and was able to get me the truck for the time I needed, but it definitely caused a headache during an already stressful move. My dad and I arrived at around 3:40 to pick up the truck. He was rushing us because he said he had to hurry up to another job. The first thing he said when we came in was "driver's license and credit card" - no "hi" or anything. My dad asked about doing a walk around to make sure of any damages and Simon just handed my dad his clipboard and told him to do the walk around him and take pictures of anything he sees. Simon clearly should have been doing the walk around with us. He also did not ask if we knew how to operate the equipment nor volunteer to show us. Luckily, my dad had used one in the past so he was familiar with it. The windows were so filthy dirty that we had to bring towels to wipe them down. Lastly, we dropped off at the car at 1:30pm the next day and they were closed. Their Saturday hours showed that they are open until 4pm and we wanted to be sure to drop it off before 330 since

When returning the vehicle, we felt others who borrowed the vehicle could have moved up more into an available space allowing others room. Although we had a spot to park our vehicle, the space was was pretty tight.
