I was overcharged, still trying to sort that out. The Store personnel forged my signature. I would recommend suspending or canceling their ability to represent U-Haul.

I am a small business owner and rely on U-haul for a great deal of my business. I have rented from the Parkesburg location a few times, and it is always a headache. It is always my last resort location, and that is truly saying something as I live less than a mile away. I would prefer to drive to Oxford, than go to the U-haul in my town. My most recent experience renting from this location was the icing on the cake and I will never be back, nor be a customer at their store. I selected mobile pick-up for 6 AM. When I tried to do the check-in, it told me I needed to see an associate to check-in and that I wouldn’t be able to until 10:30. Thankfully the store was open (the only positive of my experience), and I was able to speak to an employee. This man was not only rude, but clearly had no idea what he was doing as what should take minutes took an HOUR to “check-in.” This delayed my entire schedule for the day, and i effected my customers who I take great pride in ensuring the have a wonderful experience - something the Parkesburg location could take note of. Well, turns out he never did check me in as I was halfway through my workday when I received a call from U-haul stating I never picked up my truck, as I was literally driving it an hour from the location. I called the location to inform them, and the employee was beyond rude and requesting me to give my credit card information over the phone. I have an account with U-haul, I rent U-hauls multiple times a month, and I’ve never been requested to provide this so I did not, and informed him that the payment is processed when the truck is returned and the total miles are calculated. He told me I was wrong, and that I needed to pay. After hanging up, as I needed to get back to my work day as my schedule was already delayed because of him, I received a text that my u-haul was checked in. I returned the truck with a full tank, by the time it needed to be returned, handed in the key and walked out. I will never return, nor recommend this location to any of my fellow small business owners. Please do yourself a favor, learn some respect for your customers and learn how to check-in a U-haul.
Kelsey MCashier new nothing about uhaul she kept calling someone on the phone. Had to take pic of own drivers license and send to somebody. 3 times it took when sending drivers license. BIG RED FLAG. Others waiting to get uhaul. Very poor customer service. Will never use again. Truck was dirty inside. Took over half hour till got truck from place being incompetent. Never again.
Roxannne KThe African American helper/worker of the store was very nice and welcoming and trying to help but he didn’t know much given he was an older gentleman. However the owner/worker of the shop (apparently of Asian ethnicity “Indian”) was not only rude but very unhelpful. Their drop box isn’t orange and it blended in. So I walked right in and went to ask where to drop the key. He approached me and the other worker with a “what?!” And “where is the paperwork” to which I several times responded that it was all done via phone and that there was no paperwork. He seemed annoyed and furthermore did not changed his attitude. The helper/worker walked with me outside to indicate where to drop the key but stated that he wasn’t sure in which of the 3 the key needed to be dropped in and even apologized for not knowing. The owner/worker came outside pointed stating that I needed a special code to drop the key and that it was one of the tree and walked away. Still no assistance. I looked in my emails for a code but couldn’t find anything. Eventually I figured out that it was the box labeled #1 because the other 2 were for shared keys or something like that. At the end I was still skeptical about it so I took a video of me dropping the key in the box. Needless to say that next time I won’t be using that location which unfortunately would cost me but that unprofessional and I unknowledgeable owner/worker left a very bad taste in my mouth.
