While the employees were completely helpful and took care of me immediately, I did not like the fact that I could not log in my trailer somewhere. All ended up fine, but just left a little uneasy that I had followed the proper drop-off procedure.

The staff at that location are very rude. They disrespect the customers and call them troublemakers if you ask them questions about the condition of vehicle or charges on your bill. The black girl who says she works there part cursed me out and yelled st me. I took pics of her and have her on video. She should be fired. She didn’t give her right name but this incident occurred when I return the vehicle on Saturday 12/21/19 at approx 2:30 pm

Great service. I had forgotten to remove my EZ pass transponder from the truck, and called them in a panic. the lady who answered the phone took the time to find the keys and have someone retrieve it from the truck and held it for me till I was able to get it the next day.

Stop fraudulently charging cleaning fees and night drop off fees that did not apply in an effort to increase the invoice. Said location has a history of doing that, and their poor reviews reflect that location. Location should be under new ownership or cease to exist because brand name is being highly devalued

I must start by saying that the staff with whom I interacted were incredibly kind, professional, and prompt when I picked up the truck I rented from Slope Storage. However, the franchise charged me a $50 cleaning fee the day after I completed an after-hours drop off of the 10-foot truck. I called UHaul's corporate customer service line to dispute the charge, and the representative, Shaunte (sp?), was very kind and patient in responding to my concern. She called the staff at Slope Storage who told her that they charged the $50 fee because I left the furniture pads unfolded in the bed of the truck and there were mud footprints on the driver-side floor board. I then spoke with a supervisor at UHaul's corporate office who could not tell me where the service contract I received requires that I fold the rented UHaul furniture pads upon return, particularly when (1) they were not folded when I received them, as they were rolled into a clear plastic bag that tore under the weight of the pads; and (2) she confirmed that Slope Storage is supposed to remove and clean the furniture pads between each customer's use. To charge $50 for that is absurd. I've never heard of anyone being required to fold up items before the items are immediately thrown into a laundry bag to be laundered. The Slope Storage staff then claimed that there was so much mud on the driver-side floor board that they could not clean it themselves but had to pay an outside service to "power wash" it that very day. I cannot say whether I was responsible for the mud footprints on the floor near the gas/brake pedals because I did not inspect the floor boards before and after renting the truck. However, I DO know (1) I was moving/walking in very urban, cement-laden neighborhoods in New York City (Washington Heights & Long Island City), not some muddy countryside; and (2) my sneakers did not have mud on them at the end of the day, and I certainly didn't track any mud into my home. Therefore, I find it hard to believe the hyperbole of Slope Storage's $50 mud cleaning saga. I've moved many times in LA, DC, and NYC. Nearly every time, I or my roommates/family members rented UHaul trucks for the job. I have never had a problem before. I will not be returning to Slope Storage when I again move my furniture. And I would not recommend the location to anyone else.

Dear U-Haul Customer Service Team,  I had a very bad experience renting a $19.95 Uhaul van from the location on 9th Street in Brooklyn, NY, yesterday which was Tuesday. I rented the van on 9th street  to pick up my things at a storage facility a few blocks away and then bring it back to my apartment on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.  During my travels I revived a text on the alternate phone number , not 9172594046, that said  I had to return the van in 6 hours when I told the rep at 9th Street Brooklyn that Im aware I have 24 hours to bring the van back to a u haul  I then called customer service and explained what happened. She changed it to 24 hour.  The u haul representative claims that I drove 26 miles at $41.31 and said that I had to return "his" van to the location in Brooklyn, when there are several locations by the Upper West Side.  As a result, from all the way over at the Upper West Side of Manhattan I had to drive again down the West Side Highway and again had to drive over the Ma hattan Bridge and again drive through Brooklyn to get bsck to the Uhaul location on 9th Street Brooklyn This means I also paid double the gas.  Please see attached contact with miles and see attached gas reciept and meter reading on the van when I parked it back at the 9th street location  It was completely inconvenirnt and the uhaul rep imposed unnessessary charged on me.  Therefore I want the miles charge the gas charge reimbersed  I also want the coverage charge reimbersed because I returned it the way I took it.    It is completely unreasonable and and set a frivilous financial burden on me.

This location does not participate in the app pick up process. I uploaded all my photos on the way only to have to do it again through a link in a text once I found my way to the office. It would be great if Uhaul told me that before I wasted time downloading the app and going through the steps to prepare for a self pick up.

The truck was in terrible condition. The engine sounded like it was going to fall out at any moment. Could barely accelerate. The passenger door would not close all the way. Definitely not a stress we needed. I rent vans from this site with my work and all are great clean and new however the truck was the complete opposite.

This was so convenient- a few minutes walk from the subway. The staff was great- quick, pleasant, and well organized- I was on my way within minutes of both arriving and returning. The van was clean and worked perfectly. Highly recommend this location and would use them again!

Not a complaint about the location (the location was great) - a complaint about Uhaul and your reservation system on line - i had reserved a 15' foot truck, i was told on Friday - THE NIGHT BEFORE MY MOVE - that there were not 15' trucks in the area, the closest one was an hour a way (it would have taken me 2 hours to get it and come back to load it). to the credit of the person I spoke to on the phone, they warned me this would likely happen - but it's insane to me that Uhaul would allow me to reserve a truck they know they can't provide anywhere near where I needed,.

The online drop off doesn't work correctly, the UHaul corporate site is all fucked up. I had to spend over an hour on the phone, in the rain, with UHaul customer service before someone would "manually" return the truck. This location/franchise is gr at but UHaul itself needs to get it's fuckin act together

About 10 minutes after pick up the oil light went on and alarm sounded. I had to add oil to the truck. I added I quart and that stopped the alarm. I should not have to add oil to a rental truck
