So, I originally reserved a 10 ft trailer for 1030 a.m.(on the app) at a location off of Jackson. When I got my confirmation it was for a different location at 3pm. I changed the location to one that was available at 1100 a.m. off of Fairfield drive OEM. I arrived, they didnt have my reservation nor a truck for me to get. They said my reservation was @JJs towing. So I called and headed there. Upon arriving they didnt have my reservation EITHER it was for a different location on PACE BLVD. But the men at JJs towing had a truck and let me take it. A quick pick up turned into a 45 minute ordeal at which it wasnt the location nor the time I selected.

Truck was not available at the time requested. Had to wait on previous renter to arrive(lost & late). Then they had to drive to another uHaul location to get that location to release truck to J&J. Charged two days of insurance only needed a day. The office was deplorable. Ceiling leaking buckets of water. Floors wet. Accident waiting to happen — slip and fall and MOLD! Won’t go back there & uHaul should leave this place for many reasons but lawsuit number one!

Inflated the quote with incorrect beginning millage reading and then added packing blankets we didn't order. Made two separate debit transactions yet could not explain what the second one was for at $16.00. Cost us $75.00 to rent a 10' truck for 6 hours and 30 miles. Obviously a dishonest dealer, yank his franchise!

I could write volumes on the misplays of the UHaul staff. I spent hours on emails and phone calls to set up a truck rental. Your people gave me misinformation, promised to provide services that did come to fruition, and acted as though they wanted to get me off the phone. My fee as a consultant is $100. per hour. I spent three hours on this issue. Consider this email an invoice for my services totaling $300. The manager was disorganized and not friendly. Returning the truck became a HUGE debacle when I received a text telling me to return the truck to a different location. In fact, the entire experience with UHaul in general was a debacle, almost from the start. I reserved my truck at a location and requested to change it, then the location was changed 3 more times, including once literally at the last minute. I will not use UHaul again. The only shining moment was when I returned the truck (to a different location) the manager there was very helpful and she worked hard to get me the refund for the additional fees that I was not supposed to be charged initially.

This is a low-end towing/tire company, nothing professional about it. Be sure to add 40 minutes to your wait time even if you are the only one in the office. I was re-directed here from my original chosen pickup location which will be addressed with Uhaul.

1101 North Pace was not where I had a confirmed reservation. I wasn't told of the change until I got to the original location, then was given bad directions to a different place. The second place had to give me directions to the third place, North Pace.

IF THERE WAS A WAY I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE INFINITY STARS I WOULD. I HAVE MOVED COUNTLESS TIMES FROM VARIOUS CITIES AND STATES AND ALWAYS USE UHAUL. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EXPERIENCED WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN I DID AT THE UHAUL AT 1101 N. PACE BLVD IN PENSACOLA FLORIDA. THE MANAGER DAN WAS THEE MOST VILE, RACIST, AND INHUMANE HUMAN BEING IVE EVER ENCOUNTRED. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND SLIGHTLY SATANIC IS WHAT COMES TO MIND WHEN I THINK OF HOW HE TREATED MY FAMILY DURING THIS MOVE. FOR STARTERS WE CALLED TO CONFIRM BEFORE WE DROVE UP THERE AND HE SAID HE WOULDNT BE BACK AT THE OFFICE FOR TWENTY MINUTES AND WE'D HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE. WHEN I ASKED IF ANYONE ELSE COULD ASSIST HE SAID NO YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. WHEN WE ARRIVED HE TOLD US THEY DID NOT HAVE A 20 FT TRUCK ALTHOUGH WE CALLED TO VERIFY THIS THE NIGHT BEFORE AND THE MORNING OF. FUNNY ENOUGH WE SAW ONE RIGHT OUTSIDE OF HIS WINDOW. HE ENDED UP GIVING US THE EXACT SAME TRUCK WE TOLD HIM HAD IF HE JUST PICKED HIS HEAD UP. MY HUSBAND TOLD HIM WE DIDNT NEED THE DOLLY WE HAD ORIGINALLY PUT ON THE ORDER AND HE SAID HE COULDNT EDIT RESERVATIONS. I SAID I COULD DO IT RIGHT FROM MY PHONE AND HE RESPONDED SAYING I WAS UNABLE TO. WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND REGARDLESS OF ME TELLING HIM NOT TO, HE CANCELED MY RESERVATION "BECAUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD HIM TO. HE ALSO LIED AND SAID UHAULS COMPUTERS WERE DOWN SO HE COULD NOT CHANGE MY RESERVATION AFTER HE CANCELED IT. HE THEN TRIED TO CHARGE MY FAMILY 2.5 TIMES THE RESERVATION PRICE TO DO A NEW WALK IN RESERVATION RATE WITHOUT THE DOLLY. HE TOLD US HE RESERVED THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE AND SAID PPL LIKE US ARE THE REASON TRUMP IS PRESIDENT. HE TOLD US TO WAIT OUTSIDE WHERE IT WAS POURING DOWN RAINING IF WE WANTED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN THEY VERIFIED THAT THEIR SYSTEMS WERE IN FACT UP AND RUNNING THEY RESTORED MY RESERVATION AND SAID HE WAS LYING. WE WENT BACK INSIDE WITH THE RATE WE ORIGINALLY CAME IN WITH TO PAY FOR THE TRUCK. HE SHOUTED AT ME AND THREW MY DEBIT CARD AT ME AFTER HE SWIPED IT. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THIS ENTIRE ORDEAL WAS ABOUT HIM NOT WANTING TO EDIT A RESERVATION BC WE DIDNT NEED THE DOLLY. WHEN WE CHECKED OUT HE STILL CHARGED US FOR THE DOLLY AND NEVER PROVIDED US WITH ONE. I'VE HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW A WEEK LATER JUST TO BE REFUNDED TEN DOLLARS BC OF AN INCOMPETENT SHREW. I WANTED TO RECORD THIS SICK BASTARD BUT I WAS IN TOTAL DISBELIEF. PLEASE VISIT ANOTHER DEALER IN PENSACOLA. UHAUL SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BARBARIC DEMON. MOVING IS HARD ENOUGH...NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS MISTREATMENT ESPECIALLY NOT FROM AMERICAS GREATEST MOVING COMPANY.

We located the vehicle that wasn't parked where video showed it to be. We were given the wrong box # for key. Lucky we finally go the other box open. Contacted Jesse- Regional or district mgr was never called back. Truck had damage to top front driver cargo area. Which it rained and leaked into the cargo area. Good thing nothing was damaged. It should have never been rented like that. The check engine light was on when got vehicle. If it had broken down on drive I would not have been a happy client.

Build/buy better quality trucks? Location, J & J Service, was fine, but the truck wasn't in good repair. They gave me a brand new 10' truck with only 5904 miles but the air conditioning didn't work and the far right 12 volt circle plug was dead. I had to drive 700 miles in July with lukewarm air barely blowing out.

I had to rent a box truck and tow dolly to get my broken van home. After numerous tries at local Uhauls ( got put on hold, I was unfamilar with area) I call national center and they took my info and said someone would call back with a location of truck and dolly. That part worked fine, I received a call back within the hour. I was given location, phone# and told to call and confirm pick up. This was about 10am. I called and left a message with J and J stating we were calling UBER and would be there ASAP. I got a text asking to confirm pick up so I called again and this time spoke to owner of shop. He was rude, telling me I better get ther before noon or just forget it. I explained I was on my was and he continued to be rude to me, insisting he had spoke to me earlier and that he told me I should go somewhere else that was open to 4pm. I tried to tell him we would be there within 20 minutes, well before the noon cut off time but her continued to be rude again stating he spoke to me and I better be there before noon or forget it. Once at his place of business, he was not very pleasant. He had trouble with getting my contract or order through online and complained about U-Hauls system, he had to call them in the end. He gave me a contract with no prices ( I did not notice as all I wanted was away from him), the truck he gave us was on empty, even though contract states it was a quarter tank other car rentals require your return car gas tank at same level so when it was on "E" I did not think about complaining). We had to put 31 plus gallons of gas in the box truck immediately because we feared running out of gas. When we returned truck at about an 1/8 tank of fuel, we were told it would cost us $30. The drop off location was extremely nice and let us add fuel to truck to avoid charge. I have gas receipt with fuel amount and store location, I do not beleive Jand J does a good job of representing Uhual, he is rude and speaks poorly of your company. He also had complaints that the central booking station had sent two other people to him that day which caused him to scramble for trucks. There seems to be a very professional and devoted Uhaul location less than a mile from J and J (we stopped there first). I am not sure why you would send folks to J and J to face a rude man who owns a tow truck company, his shop is old and is lot unorganized. I feel he lied about the fuel in truck ( yeah, he may have photoed fuel level but I know what I had to do)

1. The I always rent from a different uhaul place but this experienace let me know I need to cont to rent truck through the same uhaul site then changing. This J&J experience was not very good. Little things when I got truckngas was not correct and I see They still haven’t corrected it with the connected receipt bc I put close to half in tank with return. The truck I had Cut off a couple of time and it was jerking and smoking and I spoke with someone on that problem. Now I see My account and the price that I was suppose to be charged are totally different it might be a couple of dollars to someone, but those couple of dollars means a lot to a mother of six. My account was charged $142.96. But my contract says I only being charged 120.03 so it’s a small difference but to me right now all the other stuff that was messed up I’m giving a $$tip for my bad experience this one time instead of giving a tip for a good experience... and that’s not fair so I rate This experience a 1 bc of all of this.. sorry I had To rate this way but I promise All my other experience has been wonderful. You live and you learn... so lesson leard for me stay away from j&j. Thank you and my loss on the money too so ????
