please list this location on u haul website, i found this location by accident
The check-in process was not explained well beyond "go to location to pick up vehicle". The process was not straight forward, time consuming, and involved too many people outside of the rental agreement. Why did Uhaul need to call/text multiple people if license information and payment information was already provided? If Uhaul is going to ask for these things DURING the check in process, it should be made evidently clear before this process begins. I was asked for my passport number and leasing agreement while I stood in a gas station/Uhaul pick up location.
The gas station representative kept me waiting for 15 minutes before helping me with the vehicle pickup. Once I was given the keys, I found that the battery was dead. The technicians came an hour after this issue was reported, causing a delay that led to me having to pay for additional elevator time to the building that I was moving from. The dead battery is concerning as the uhaul vehicle had less than 2,700 miles on it at the time of pickup, meaning that the vehicle was simply not checked/prepared after the prior drop off and my pickup. I am also concerned by this lack of preparation/cleaning during this pandemic. I found this pickup to be a terrible experience and overall damaging to the uhaul brand.
