Customer service was not great... Employee was trying to help to many people at once, also was texting. But once she got her focus on me and off customer behind me, and her conversation with other employees, texting she was great but a bit to late...and just delivered the info quick.

Customer service was good throughout except at the end. My wife and I were getting a refund from our earlier estimate, and something happened with another customer next to us where she had said they just lost a good recurring customer about her issue. She mentioned that she used uhaul for her small business and was now going to look at other companies. Once she left, a couple employees (including the older man who worked there) began going on about howhat they were tired of "being nice to customers," and how it will be a little slower during the day because she won't be coming back. The customer service needs to improve. Not only for specific cases where uhaul might not be able to do anything (like the other customer's case) to try to find a solution for that case, and not feel better when customers walk away for good.

The Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only one glitch since the trailer hitch is installed in another location, not all the fees, services, and equipment was mentioned until the other location contacted me. The complete cost would have helped me to determine an alternate way to move based on cost.

The truck we used was definitely showing it's age. We had to carry mirrors in another vehicle because the U Haul truck was such a rough ride.

Only problem we had with out rental truck was that it was raining and there was a leak in the roof of the truck. Not much of out belongings was damaged but it would have been nice if I had gotten a discount. Overall however nice staff, and quick process in pick up.

Air didn't work, and when fixed , didn't last. Windshield was really dirty. Truck bed wasn't swept. Delay coet hours and I had movers waiting. ALSO even though I went to the location the previous week to reserve the truck and auto carrier, you changed pickup location and didn't tell me. It wasn't even close!

I would not recommend UHaul to anyone. I reserved a truck on Friday morning to be picked up that same day. The web site said the place I reserved it from would call me to confirm when I could pick it up. I waited several hours and no one called. So I called them only to get an answering machine. So I waited another couple of hours. Then called them again. Still no answer. So I called the main UHaul customer service number. They had to find a place that was still open (it was 4:45 pm) and that had the smaller truck I needed. I wasted an entire day waiting for the truck. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed. I swore several years ago when I had a bad experience with UHaul that I would never use them again. I was in a bind this time and UHaul was my last resort. Interestingly, the company has not changed. Still a terrible experience.

Picked up the rental at 8am Saturday (a popular time for this) and was surprised that only one person was working the counter. There were 3 people waiting when I got there. The woman working had to check out the person and then run and get their truck. She was amazingly efficient but clearly could have used help.

I had arranged this location as my drop off point and for storage prior to my truck rental in another city. I also paid the additional amount to have 24-hour access, knowing I would be arriving after they closed. When I arrived at 9:00 on Sunday night and swiped my card to open the gate, the message I received said I did not have access. In attempting to call someone at this location to be able to gain entry, my call was routed to the U-Haul call center in Phoenix. Dealing with the first person at the call center is a story in and of itself. I was stranded outside the gate with a truck full of furniture and all this clown could advise was for me to wait until morning when the location opens. He kept repeating that there was nothing more that could be done short of handing me off to customer service so that I could file a complaint. What did I have to lose, so I said sure, go ahead and send me to them. The guy who answered, after taking the time to listen to my situation, asked a couple questions and was able to provide access with what appeared to be just a few quick keystrokes. The next morning I called my storage location and asked to speak to the general manager, wanting to make her aware of the problem that occurred. I was told she was not in so I left my name and phone number. This person has still not returned my call. Fortunately, I do not need the storage space long, and without question this is the last time I will do business with U-Haul. It just seems that there is a prevailing culture of not caring much for the customer's needs.
