I was rushed to return vehicle leaving no time to fuel. Then charged large amounts of money for gas. A little bit unfair. Should have been waved due to the circumstances.

This location falsely over-charged my credit card. They charged me for a 2 day rental even though equipment was returned on the first day. They charged me a cleaning fee even though the equipment was returned in broom clean condition the same as when it was taken out. And they charged me for equipment protection even though I expressly declined. My contract number is 25333037 and I am very disappointed and will be filing a complaint with my credit card issuer.

reserved a truck closest to my residence, due to illness I didn't want to travel extra 10 miles in traffic zone, extending my return times. this made it a sad as affair, otherwise everything else was perfect.



Attendent stated that it would have 3/4 of a tank of fuel. When I started driving I realized it only had 1/2 tank. Didn't have time to mess with going back to the location to discuss it. So, when done with the truck a couple hours later, after the location was closed, I put $60 worth of fuel I didn't use in the truck to get it to 3/4 of a tank before returning it. A bit of a ripoff. The truck has 135,000 miles on it and the steering is loose especially when turning right.

I am absolutely livid as I write this. I am going to the BBB. Please have someone from Corporate contact me immediately as all of the rates on my contract changed. The truck was returned the same day and they charged me for 2 additional days. I will also be contacting an attorney if I do not have a response within 24 hours

I'm unhappy w/the uhaul process. I had reserved a 10' truck for 5/10/18 order #21984009. I arranged to pick it up at 8:45am to have for 24 hours. I wasn't going to be able to pick up until later because I had to work. When I tried to do express check in I got the message it was canceled. When I called the location the (very rude) man said he tried to call me 3 times. My phone can tell how many times I've been called from a number. He called once. Also, he didn't leave a message. He didn't apologize, he kept repeating he called 3 times. Then he informed me he didn't have a truck and gave me the customer service number. If I have the truck for 24 hours why did I need to pick it up? Why was he rude and unhelpful? The people at Stelton Road were very helpful and polite.

I have no issues with this location or dealer there. What I am writing below that caused me a lot of pain is related to U Haul since I was guaranteed reservation of a 15 ft van a month in advance. However when I arrived at the location I was told they only have a 10 ft van. On contacting U Haul I found that the previous day evening a mail was sent to me stating change of location. This to me is unacceptable since I was guaranteed reservation with $50 credit at this location a mile away from my residence but changed a day prior to a location 5 miles away. Obviously U Haul expected me to take time and check my mail when I was so busy packing my stuff to make a move and expected me to drive to a location 4 miles further off to pick a van - a location I precisely did not pick in the first place due to the distance. Not only did I have to compromise on a smaller van but I also ended wasting an hour and half talking to customer care to lodge a complaint. Since I had to vacate my residence that same day the 1.5 hour lost talking to U Haul gave me that much less time to move stuff and so I had to rush with the entire move on a day when it snowed heavily. I am yet to receive a response to the complaint that was lodged on my behalf by the dealer but this entire experience has definitely been very painful for me and I will think twice before choosing U Haul again.
