The rental of the truck was fine however the moving helpers was a completely disaster. They were hired through the u-haul website and the first option never show up. We had to hired a second option through u-haul and they were in such a hurry that we had to finished ourselves half way through because we were concerned about our fragile boxes. Very bad experience.

They do not explain about the extra fees and they tell me only $.89 cents per mile but they charge me $1.09 per mile I'm very disappointed about the service

When I picked up my unit I was given a receipt with the truck information, the paperwork said the tank would be full when in fact it was under 1/4. Before I left the lot I informed Chris that the gas was wrong and I took a picture of the gas and mileage. Chris said go ahead and I will fix it when I get inside. I trusted he would handle this as he promised. As I drove off, I looked at my paperwork and the mileage said app 46k when in fact it was at 49k+. I immediately called back and spoke to customer service who notated the incident. They said that it would be documented but u should let them know whenever I turned it back in so I didn't get charged for 3000 miles. I also made sure that they noted that the gas tank was under 1/4 and they said that it was fine and that as long as I returned it with the same amt I wouldn't be charged. When I returned the truck at the Dallas location, I told the guy the whole issue and said, he would have to deal with it the next day because it was already too late.they kept my paperwork and said they needed it to verify my story. I was not offered a copy. Today I see my account and I was charged for returning the truck with under 1/4 tank of gas because their paperwork says if u return a truck under 1/4 they will charge u all these fees. But I returned it the same way it was given to me. I called the location #57 and spoke to Stacy S. A manager at the location who was so rude and told me I was at fault. Didn't even bother listening that it was a mistake on their part. He blamed the location in Dallas and said I had to talk to them. All they said was that they would call back and as of bow still no call... So I called the Plano location again and spoke to Stacy , the manager, who said it was because they gave us the wrong truck and that I had to call corporate and deal with them. When I tried to tell him that I was given the runaround he became very abrasive and started talking down to me blaming me for everything and said if u have a problem talk to them and hung up. I find this type of service very disappointing and would not recommend to anyone. As if today no call and no refund of the unjust charges. This should be looked further into, how can you make a mistake on mileage and not have over 3000 miles tracked and a full rank of gas used... Sounds like the staff is running shady business practices and trying to blame the customer for their crooked behavior when someone speaks up.

Tell the full-truth to the next customer. Upon receiving my uhaul rental it was originally agreed the estimated charge of $120 from Friday evening after 2pm-Saturday am including the Daily charge of $29.95, taxes, n chosen $28 full insurance protection. "Plans didn't coincide with the weather ". I couldn't move Saturday morning, it poured down rain of fighting cats n dogs. Therefore I called to request another day; Sunday then return My uhaul rental Sunday after-hours. Well Sunday wasn't the best day to move either it rained twice as much. Yet, I achieved My goal without any damage to My belongings or My uhaul rental even in the rain non-stop. Many would've thought of this curslingly but it was My Blessing Of New Life. Only not the part where My $120 agreed upon charge jumped to $291 "blessed grief" or greed. I paid $268.30 actually $70.35 more than I was negotiating. Then the discussion was over with the very uninformed customer assistance. Now I'm receiving survey emails to rate my experience with promissory note invoices I never agreed to or signed. Someone even attached a $30 late-fee to something they can keep expecting."I already Paid Too Damn Much, I'm done". Nakesha

I've moved five times since February 2014 through June 2016. Hopefully I have moved for the last time for now. Uhaul has always been there through the crazy times. This location is consistent; always great service, never any problems with the trucks or equipment, reserving and picking up is so easy and the prices are great. Yall are awesome!! THANK YOU!!

HAD NO CLUE HOW TO OPEN THE GATE TO THE LOT. ASKED THE STAFF PRIOR TO AFTER HOURS DROP OFF AND SHE TOLD ME LOT WAS OPEN, BUT ON GETTING THERE, GATE WAS CLOSED. HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE GETTING INTO THE LOT BEFORE I COULD PACK THE TRUCK. OTHER THAN THAT, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT THE LADY STAFF WHO ATTENDED TO ME.

They charged me twice for the overage. Needless to say, I don't tend to appreciate such. Long waits on the phone before I could talk to someone. Finally got a representative, who had to transfer me. Silence during the transfer, leading me to wonder if I was hung up on.
