Manager on duty was the worst person I've ever dealt with while trying to get services from them. She blatantly refused to take my rental back and told me to take it somewhere else. I told her that to do so I would need to back it up into a busy highway. We are talking a 15' truck and tow vehicle trailer. When I told her I wasn't comfortable doing that she just shrugs and says "well 18 wheelers do it all the time so I don't see why it's a problem" well the problem is is that the people who operate 18 wheel vehicles have received exstensive training and a special license to do so. She still refused to take it leaving me no choice but to leave it where it was and check it in online. The worst attitude on customer service I have ever dealt with and that's spending my time entire working life in the hospitality business. Will never return here and will make sure everybody knows why.

The location and staff was friendly and helpful and efficient none of my problems had to do with the location. However, my experience with Uhaul and their customer service was horrific. I placed an order and never heard back on where it was assigned. All the locations shown didn't have trucks when I called them direct and some were not even open on pickup day. Live chat was not working at all and customer service online was over an hour wait then when i got someone the line disconnected on their end. I had to call three more times and was never able to get proper assistance and ended up having to rent a truck in Ponchatoula instead of Slidell making the mileage INSANELY more expensive and all because no one was able to be reached and to assist a customer which is unacceptable and so very rude that a company's customer support would be so poor and inefficient. If an order is placed and a customer is sent to a location that doesn't have a truck or no one reaches out the customer to provide information and assistance, something needs to be addressed. I'd like to receive a credit for having to pick up a truck in Ponchatoula rather than Slidell making what should have been a 20-30 mile drive over 100 miles.
