When we reserve a truck for 5 hours, we expect to get 5 hours of use out of it. We lost about 30 minutes of that time because the driver verification process was very slow and cut into our actual rental time, which meant we were very rushed when unloading and returning the truck. It made the experience much more stressful than it needed to be.

The return process was extremely clunky. We had rented a self-service van - and the check out process was amazingly straight forward. As we went through the return process, the instructions given on the website conflicted with what was required of the vehicle we had rented. I was instructed to return keys to a drop box that did not exist, and spent 45 minutes walking through a fairly rough part of town at 3 in the morning to try and find the box. I was transferred through four different support lines/teams as I was walking, until I finally received help - requiring a new code to unlock the lockbox on the car. Please make sure the instructions for key return are up to date on self service vehicles. I am glad my girlfriend did not go to return the van after our move, because I would have been very concerned for her safety.

There was no lock box at this location, had to stand there for a very long time trying to figure out where to leave the keys. Why can't we just put them in the lock box on the truck and go? Extremely inconvenient!
