The cargo area had furniture padding in it which was removed. I had to sweep the cargo area of trash left there by the previous renter. I was charged for a hand truck and padding which I did not receive nor use. I was charged for several days use because I returned the truck to the wrong location. The total charges were much over the charge for those several days.

The vehicle that I was given had less than half a tank of gas. On the U-Haul document the fuel was suppose to be 3/4. when I returned I filled up to 3/4 like I was suppose to. During the return and final billing process the cashier realized that he gave me the wrong vehicle. The going out mileage did not match what I wrote down when I returned. So to fix the problem he canceled my original order and created a new one with the vehicle I was suppose to be given originally. On that document the fuel was less than 1/2 a tank. So not only did I get a vehicle with less gas I filled up and was returned with more than 1/4 of a tank more than what I was given. He did not re-ember me for his screw up which was the gas station that I fulled up at and he could have done so. It took him 45 minutes to resolve this issue. The cashier caused me to overpay for gas and wasted 45 minutes of my time. I will never use this location a gain and U-Haul for that matter.

Truck was filthy and gas gauge was off by 4 gallons. So I had to put extra fuel AND clean the truck. Didn't know I worked for u haul. Plus you charged me double and I have wait 5 days for my money back. Never renting from you again.

First of all, the gentleman at this gas station was excellent considering the circumstances. He was trying to handle multiple customers at once, resolve my problem, and did not have an issue with my own questions. The only thing I would say is that he needs help. Handling all that for just one person isn't right. Secondly, I'm not sure who manages the returns for equipment, but that person clearly did not do their job correctly. The truck was filthy, the cab had cigarette ashes all over the place (except, ironically, not in the ash trey) and it really smelled. I cleaned what I could and used an air freshener to mask the smell. Not something I would expect a customer to do. Lastly, the gentleman who processed my paperwork (same overworked cashier) could not give me my furniture dolly because it wasn't scanned into his system even though it was there. He let me know he does not know how to check things in and that someone else does that. Resulting in a lower grade dolly to use that was in their system.

no one told me that I was ganna charged up 89 cents per mile the truck was dirty I have to clean it myself

The drop off location was worse than the puck up. They had no idea what I was talking about when I asked if it was a UHaul drop off spot. In fact they barely spoke English. They did take the keys from me but I am not sure they even knew why. There is no drop box like the website said there was. Again a horrible experience. I will never rent from UHaul again and I will be sure to tell everyone how bad my experience was.

After picking up the cargo van I noticed the light for the tire pressure was low. I checked the air pressure which was only 10 psi. The recommended psi is 72. It took 45 mins to add the additional pressure because the stem was broke. I called the location I picked it up from to be hung up on. I then called customer service and was told a report was being generated and it was being emailed to me and a manager would follow up with me. I never received the email or a phone call from a manager. I have rented a lot of trucks but that will be the last time I ever rent from uhaul.

The representatives should have a better understanding of the electronic check in process. It took 20 minutes to check in even though I already checked in online prior to entering the store.

I was told my furniture pads would be with the vehicle, they weren't and I didn't get any until I made a fuss (and then, I was taken to the supply room and told to pick out as many as I wanted). Additionally the back of the truck had not been cleaned out with a basic sweep with small debris inside when I got it. The man renting was nice and accommodating though.

They didn't know how to check out vehicle. Had to call main headquarters. Van had low tire pressure when I left lot.

Very unhappy with this experience using u- haul. I reserved a 15 foot truck and instead a 10 foot was reserved, which caused me to find other means to move all my belongings. While I understand the location could be moved I did not know that the size of the truck would be! I called customer service,they then gave me another number to call in which I only received a answering machine. I left a message and no one called me back! Worst experience ever

There is no key drop box at this location. I tried to give the key to the person working at the location and he would not take the key. I called customer service and was told that someone would call me back but did not receive a call.

When I returned the trailer the man helped to 'unhitch' the trailer but he told me it was not normally part of his job. I was surprised that UHaul would let me return to a location that didn't include 'unhitching'. What if he refused to unhitch it for me? I wouldn't have known how to do it myself. Luckily he did unhitch for me but he had trouble removing the hitch and said that it would have been a lot easier if I had the other part that he normally sees. I purchased the tow package at UHaul in Hamden CT that week and they didn't mention an additional part that would allow for easier removal. I'm disappointed that this whole experience was as stressful as it was.

the fact that I had my location changed was inexcusable. To show up and have reservation issue was even worse. The attendant was very helpful, but your systems did not make it easy.

Location is fine. Procedure STINKS!!!! Wasn't contacted about change in pickup location, so I got there late, couldn't use a credit card (had to be "bank" card which took over 10 minutes to get approved for no reason), amount in tank was not accurate. AND BECAUSE OF LATENESS AND CARD ISSUES, STARTED RENTAL 40 MINUTES LATE BUT THE CONTRACT HAD ORIGINAL START TIME AND I WAS TOLD IT COULDN'T BE ADJUSTED. Will try not to use UHaul again.

We were charged for blankets that we did not receive. The check in and check out process was very slow and inconvenient. The gentleman at the check out counter, while nice, was not willing to adjust the bill. I am extremely disappointed and will plan to rent from Penske in the future.

WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP TRAILER I HAD TO HOOK UP TRAILER MYSELF AND CHECK ALL MY LIGHTS BY MYSELF. THE ATTENDANT STAYED INSIDE. ONLY AFTER I WAS PULLING AWAY DID THE ATTENDANT COME OUTSIDE. I'M GLAD I WENT TO GET TRAILER AND NOT MY WIFE OR DAUGHTER. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
