I'm a regular customer have a really bad experience I rent a box truck # EL5123M - AD28767-AZ from the Uhaul location in prosper Texas on 1566 hwy 380 W The manager was not working I spoke with one of the employees on the phone he said they were going to reimburse my money and he was going to do it but them another employed said NO you need to paid and he didn't care about all the problem I have with their rental truck.

The staff that I have encountered at this location has been consistently unprofessional. The check in person told me it was a waste of time that I did the advanced online check in process. I had to help the check in person lift the trailer onto the trailer hitch while he complained that the company doesn't care about his bad back. The check in computer system was unable to interface with the printer so a receipt of my rental could not be printed.

Rates are extremely outrageous! Uhaul charges an extremely high rate on mileage!! The overall rates are fine but Uhaul charges so much in mileage they more than make up for the rate of rental. Will never rent again! You can hire movers for cheaper than a truck and moving yourself! Uhaul you should be ashamed of taking advantage of honest hard working individuals and charging so much on the back end! Very disappointed and bad business practices! Definitely will be sharing my experience with as many people as I possibly can.

I was hit by bad weather between Price and hwy I 15 in Utah. I noticed the truck didn't have wiper fluid when I tried to clean the windshield. This made the trip very dangerous through dirt, icy roads and slight snow blowing out. Fortunately, I found a gas station in between, which helped me clean the windshield temporarily because it got dirty again soon after. At this point it was already late in the night this past Saturday, November 24. I'm very upset about this and how I was ripped off with this truck. Not to mention that I had to go pick up the truck in Prosper, TX, which was far away from the location I was promised the truck was going to be there. On top of that, I was promised by a Lucie from UHaul Scheduling that I was going to get credit for all the trouble I went through. I haven't gotten anything. On the contrary, I was charged $50 processing, per email received, and an additional $400 plus on fees and charges that were not disclosed to me when I originally made several months ago. You all abused of me and this is not going to stay like this! I am going to escalate this case further!

This was the best UHaul experience I’ve ever had..from start to finish. Brian and his crew were extremely helpful with getting everything set and getting me on the way. I move quite a bit and this would Rank as my number 1 with all my moves. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to get me on my way. I was renting a car transport and needed help with straps for my oversized tires and reciever for my hitch. This location only had 1 of the straps I needed and Brian was there to the rescue to donate one he had on his truck. Really?? Is this happening at a UHaul? The young lady at the desk helped facilitate getting the hauler hooked up and ran through all the checklists. If your going to need any storage or moving help and live in the area... this is the place!

On the day of my move, I got a last minute call saying the location I selected didn't have the truck I reserved (several weeks ago) and I'd have to drive several miles (out of the route I planned and had budgeted for) to get the truck. No mileage credit or discount was offered for the inconvenience; I was just out of luck and since I needed the truck for our move, I didn't have a choice. The initial transaction was fine. However, upon return, the guy checking us out, had all kinds of wrong charges, items in the bill we didnt add or that were even on the contract. He had to have a manager, Morgan, come over to help him even get his math correct. Also, I was exactly one hour over, and he kept trying to charge mr for an extra day (even though the guy that handled the rental the day before said it was fine to be an hour or two late since I was being incovenienced to drive to a whole different location and forced to pay for mileage due to an issue that your store caused in the first place. Will definitely consider another moving option for future moves.

The truck was not clean. Steering wheel was sticky to the touch. Windshield was not clean inside or outside.

When I walked in, a customer was very upset and raising her voice. The staff maintained a professional attitude and tried to do everything in their power to accommodate the lady. While that was going on I was taken care of and quickly as well. Good Job to the staff at this location, I will definitely use this location again.

I was pissed that the Uhaul location in Frisco did not have my trailer available when it was listed online to have it. The location in prosper was quite a drive from where I thought I was getting the trailer from when I booked it online.

Only comment is, when I returned the trailer it was around 7:20 PM, after their posted hours, however there were a number of personnel onsite and in the office. They offered no assistance in disconnecting or turning the trailer in.

Truck was dirty on the exterior. I used the online service and it proved to be more irritating than going in. This location forgot my utility and furniture dolly so I had to make a trip back. They also did not have any furniture Dolly’s when I went back and I still paid for it because i was never given a refund. Probably going to get charged for a missing one at that so I’ll love to see what happens. The guy that helped me didn’t even know where the keys were and tried to tell me it was checked out even though I had verified the truck was there. Seemed pretty incompetent to me.
