This location was fine. I had no issues here. My overall experience was a nightmare. My original pickup location on 5505 Commercial ave Raleigh NC was the WORST!! First a car was blocking both available trucks for the 24/7 access. Then someone was sleeping in my truck. This may not be Uhauls fault but not having the correct key in the key box is 100% on U-Haul. Very disappointing. I even tried again with U-Haul a week later and it was another disaster. Contract 26128795 I reserved a truck and when I get to the location, it’s no longer available, I go to another location and the key is not in the truck! I’ve given U-Haul too many chances and didn’t get my truck guaranteed $50 on this 2nd reservation, was offered 20% off. It’s very disappointing

The person at this location was nice but forgot to load the dolly on the truck. I had to double back to get it and wasted mileage. Not very fair to me.

24 hr pick did not work right and could not get key. Phone number to call went straight to voicemail. Then called U-Haul # and was on hold for very long time. Delayed my move significantly

The van was perfect. Very easy to drive despite its size. The rear backup camera in the rear view mirror made life so much easier. Jason, who checked me in, made everything as easy as possible. If I need a van or truck again in the future I will absolutely be coming back.

I would like to comment on how I got help to get this move done. I called a different location which was closer but the gentleman didn’t have anything but quickly got me to the call center. My husband and I forgot to reserve the truck because of all the craziness that goes with moving. I called at 8 AM and they were able to get us a truck for after lunch. What awesome service!!! Thank you so much. I haven’t run across a company this exceptional in forever. Typically, we have lowered expectations but this experience far exceeded our expectations.

My only complaint with the service was the lack of communication in regards to picking up the truck. I was told my truck was reserved for 7am, but noone told me the location didn't open until 9am or that I could use the app to get quick access. This pushed my moving process behind schedule a little.

UHAUL sucks, but this location is good. I'm livid with UHAUL for not disclosing that I would need to provide 2 references when I went to pick up the truck. First, it's asinine to think that 2 references will deter people from eloping with a truck (which is what the customer service person told me it was for). You're already giving over your credit card number and license. Second, I was in a rush to get to my friend's house whose mom recently passed away... it was a delicate errand I had to run to pick up furniture from her mom's house to get it out of her way. This lack of heads up about some stupid 2 reference thing was annoying and left me scrambling texting friends standing in a parking lot trying to get a stupid UHAUL truck. I was leaving my car there... it's not like I was going to run off with a box truck. Secondly, the truck had under empty in gas when I picked it up. Seriously?!?! I could understand 1/8 of a tank of gas even (which is what they swindled me for since I had to put gas in it and guess how much I'd need since I refuse to coast on fumes into the location to return the truck).... but UNDER empty with the light on. Glad I'm familiar with the area and knew where the closest gas station was. Between an extra $25 pending charge on my card, the gas being under empty, and having to deal with the rude customer service person making me go through my entire contacts list to find two people who could answer their phones during dinnertime on a Sunday I was VERY over the experience. I would use this location again because the truck was clean and it drove fine, but only if it was an emergency like tonight. $50 for a truck for 2 hours and 14 miles and ugly customer service on the phone/app and $10 for some gas.... 1/5 stars UHAUL.... 5/5 stars for this location (because except for the gas thing, this is corporate's fault).
