The truck had no gas at all and despite me being told I was gonna get some credit to get gas I was charged 1.70 per mile rather than the .80 that was online horrible

We were charged full rate despite the air conditioner not in working condition. The truck we reserved was double booked and not available. Had to settle for the one without the ac and use it 95+deegree weather for our move. No allowance in charge for lack of ac, shoddy customer service in that respect.

Ryan and Drew were phenomenal. Separate from this business I was put into a huge bind with my move and the only reason it turned out well for me was because of how far above and beyond Ryan and his staff went for us. I have now moved away but recommend this specific location to be your best choice, even if a different store is closer to you! Ryan, Drew, and the owner were all wonderful!

Very friendly and informative team. they told me I could call the local U-Haul in Wilsonville, OR when we arrived for a drop-off. that didn't happen as when we called an operator was less than friendly and stated I had to return the trailer to Portland some 20 miles away or wait until the next day for another location.l

This location was really awful. The contract was wrong. The mileage was wrong. The gas level was wrong. The back of the truck was filthy and needed to be cleaned. The entire outside of the truck and all windows were dirty and I had to clean the windshield at the gas station after leaving the location. The interior of the truck including the steering wheel and the seat were coated in grease from the pick up locations other business working on cars. Ryan, who checked me out, was covered in grease up to his elbows and his shirt and shorts were coated too. This would explain the grease in the truck. The cup holders contained a sticky grime (puddle) and change and a bottle cap. I had to clean all of these items in the interior prior to moving. When I asked Ryan why the truck was so dirty he stated there was limited turn around time but the truck was parked in the back and was behind another truck. There was clearly adequate time to check all of these VERY obvious items and to clean the truck. I was disgusted and tried to work it out with Ryan. He said there was nothing he could do. This is pretty ridiculous considering my rental was approximately $475. Also, when asking Ryan what was covered under Safemove he told me he didn't really know. This place is poorly run and needs to either be visited and fixed or shut down as a location for U-Haul. It's an embarrassment to the company. I would like to discuss a discount reimbursement for all my trouble. It was horrible to say the least. The entire check out process took 75 minutes due to all these problems and Ryan still didn't clean the truck. All of the time was spent fixing the paperwork and contract. He called Uhaul to find out how to adjust the contract mileage and gas. He spent 10 minutes on the phone with them saying he understood what they told him to fix the contract and could make the changes. However, when he hung up he said to me that he didn't know how to do it. Just then Rachel walked in and wrote on the contract in pink highlighter and while smacking her gum told me this would be fine. I told her I was uncomfortable and worried about the turn in up in Arcata since the contract was inaccurate and she said to have that store call her store and it will be ok. All of it was troublesome and worried me. It also did cause issues at the drop off location thus forcing me to spend another 30 minutes there to explain the situation.

Our appointment was at 9am. We arrived at 855am. There was one other customer waiting also. At 9am no one showed up to open the location. By 910am I called U-Haul to check and make sure the location would open. The customer service rep over the phone was kind and tried to locate a truck at another location for us. The U-Haul associate on the phone told me I needed to receive a $50 credit for my late appointment. At 917am an employee showed up. There was no greeting, no apology to anyone for being late. I heard the customer in front of me question why she was late and they argued shortly before he left. When we approached the front desk, she didn't even look at us or make eye contact. She quickly asked us what we needed. I told her we had a 9am appointment to pick up a 20ft truck. She found our reservation. I told her I had previously been on the phone with U-Haul and was told I would received a $50 credit for appointment not being met on time. She said "I don't work for U-Haul; that's their problem". I told her I had rented with their location previously and had never had any issues. She told me it wasnt her fault and she had a sick call. She had a terrible attitude towards me. She told me I would have to take my issues up with U-Haul. When she finally brought our truck up it was past 930am. She didn't do a walk through of the vehicle, she didn't have us inspect it and sign the inspection triplicate paper. She just ripped of our copy, handed it to my fiancé and went back into the building. I can't believe someone could be this rude to a paying customer. I wasn't rude, I smiled the whole time. I will never rent from this location again risking the chance she would be working.

The trailer was not swept out - very dusty/dirty inside. Also, when it was attached to my tow bar, the chains dragged on the ground. I had to go to an actual U-Haul location and they switched out the tow bar for a different one that worked much better.

People were nice but not informative. I rented a truck on a Saturday and at the time there were 3 people there no one let me know that they will be closed early. I had no idea what to do with the truck and where to leave the keys. The after hours instructions stated leave in a uhaul drop "box" there was no box anywhere I figured because it's a regular auto shop and not an actual uhaul place. Ended up calling another uhaul place and letting them know that I dropped the keys off in the mail slot. Called the number on receipt left voicemails and no call back. Took me nearly an hour to "drop off" the truck. They should let people know especially on Saturdays.

I was very disappointed with my experience with uhaul for my move. I was not given the truck size or the location for pick up that I was promised. Had to take a smaller truck and go to a farther pick up. When I spoke to the rep that I should get the $50 refund for not honoring my reservation I got the run around. My brother called to straighten this out and was told he would get a call back, of course no call was ever received. I will not use uhaul again and will not recommend your company to friends.
