The guys who helped us were very nice. Nothing wrong with them or this location. But overall as the company U-Haul, you can improve by not making customers drive 51 miles out of their way to get a truck. I reserved one in my town, didn't run into any problems reserving it. The morning before we were to pick up the truck I get an email saying that we were to pick up the truck out of town. Noticed the couple places in town that rent U-Hauls had trucks just sitting there.. so little confused as to way I had to go so far out of my way.

This site nothing was easy for drop off, your company as a whole, don't tell someone you have a 6x12 trailer in one location and then make them drive 90 miles extra to get a trailer 24 hrs before they move, that is complete bullshit and terrible business practice. If its not available and they NEVER had it at that location, then dont let someone book it thinking it is, dumbest bullshit business practices Ive ever seen. You'll be lucky if I ever use Uhaul again.

They need to remind the renter that they have the option to re-fill the gas tank. I inadvertantly forgot and when I was charged the OUTRAGEOUS gas fee I immeaditly offered to go fill the tank and they said it was too late. She was VERY rude and un sympathetic. A little compassion would have been nice. I will never recommend this location to anyone

In that area of the Country it can be hard to find the moving equipment. It was a big surprise the night before to find out we had to pick up across the border



The sales rep did a poor job hitching the trailer to my hitch. Lucky i checked it before I left the lot it wasn't even tighten down. Then later was charged for 3 days when I only needed it for 2.he also charged my credit card before I even turned the trailer In . He said I wouldn't be charged until the trailer was turned in



Not location's fault but took we'll over an hour for pick up because we had already paid for auto transport rental when picked up truck in Fruita. System said we still needed to pay. Whole reservation system was a mess as equipment was not available anywhere near Rock Springs, WY. Overall, pick up time between truck and auto transport added 2 hours to travel time even though I had checked in ahead of time. Not acceptable in my opinion.



Rangely Harware took 30 minutes just to get started on the whole process. Once we got packed up and on the road is when I saw that their was a tail/ brake light out on the trailer / bottom right.

Well this was the second site I went to. The first site said they had what I needed, I got there did all the paperwork and we went out to hook up the trailer and the trailer was not there, so then I had to drive 3 hours to Rangely to pick up the only trailer on the western slope, This was not the other places fault, but this was a pain in the butt

I couldn't find a trailer in the Grand Junction area so I had to drive 180 mile round trip to Rangely to pick up a trailer. That was the closest location that had a 6'x12' trailer. Totally rediculous and unprofessional in business operations. Would have rented from another company if there were another available in the area.

These folks were great as well. Rangely is a very small town and we were a little skeptical of what we might experience, but we were very well received and our doubts were wiped away by the professionalism displayed by the staff. It was apparent, that they also knew what they were doing. Great experience on both picking up and returning! Thanks for making it so easy.



straps on trailer were cut short, employee forgot to tighten trailer hitch to ball and didnt cross the chains, not told I coulnd't back up with trailer loaded. No paper work on trailer



The service at the Rangely pick up point was excellent. If I could say anything to improve my experiance it would be a better rental rate. I have no complaints and thank Rangely for thier help in moving me and would return again if the need should ever arise.



It was just what I needed.



Don't move the equipment to someone else. Actualy let customers know verbally that equipment could be reassigned to someone else. Have equipment inspected and follow proper procedures to noteing damages before a customer signs off on equipment rented. The lady at corporate was a sweetheart, but u-haul needs to do better to accommodate their customers when it's a fault on the company. The location that approved my u-haul turn in was on point! They knew the proper procedures and the facilities were very clean and organized.

The rental man had all of our information in the computer, and when he clicked on blankets, the system dumped him out and he lost all of our information. It took several minutes to re-enter the information. The man was very quick and helpful. The online store could use some debugging.
