Make sure vehicle is clean and offer military/veteran discounts to customers and not tell them they will get discount at drop off destination, which you don't get. Also, provide a printed copy of transaction.

They were closed. When I called customer service they told us what we needed to do so we wouldn't be charged anything extra, and we were!!! I had to make several more phone calls to get our refund!!

The pick up location was great. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. However, I didn't really like having to drive 46 miles to get the U-Haul.

All I know about the drop off location is that they close at 1 pm on Saturdays and they're not open on Sundays. So, if you want to turn the truck in to a real person, you better finish your work Saturday morning, which is awfully difficult to do unless you're already in town. They have a grass parking lot to park the vehicles, which is decent enough. There's plenty of lights around at night. As long as your phone works and has a good signal, you can do a self turn-in eventually... It took me 40 minutes last time. I tried customer service to get some help with turn-in, and the lady was just rude. In short she said... We can't help, and if they're not open, that's just tough. That is not what you want to hear at the end of a very long day of moving. Then she accused me of yelling at her... I wasn't even close to yelling, but I did hang up on her instead. She's the epitome of what you DON'T want in customer service.

I asked for an out of state move, was sent to 2 locations to get trailer, over 100 miles and then told I would be compensated for my trouble. More trouble returning trailer in VA, and then told I asked for an in state move and no compensation would be issued!!!

Truck was not at the original location so my nephew had to drive to another location that may have been 30 miles away. The U-Haul personnel were very nice and there was a bigger truck and a discount on gas. It was not a horrible experience. Sometimes someone does not turn in a truck at the location you want, but the personnel was wonderful and worked very hard and found a truck. That was great!

Truck did not have as much fuel as indicated in my paperwork. There was also a comment in my paperwork about damage to the truck that could cause water to leak in and damage my belongings, this was not brought to my attention in the store. A dolly was also reserved with the truck but the tool was not available.

The UHaul that I was suppose to have in Petal was not there so I was given this alternative location to pick up the U haul. It was 22 miles away-which-meant 44 miles extra-because they did not have the truck as they had promised. Then when I made the reservation the week before they said no charge but put 1.00 on which caused me an overdraft of 35.oo. The representative I had spoken to had told me that because they did ot have a truck for me at the location I had been offered that I would get a credit of 50 dollars and 40 miles. Well today I get the bill and neither the 50 dollars nor the 40 credit of miles was on there. I called and the guy said it had already gone through my account and they would refund me in 2-3 days I want the 35 for OD plus 50 as promised and the 40 miles for having to go 22 miles each way extra. The trucks need to be there and if you say you are taking items off that needs to be done before it hits your bank.

I will never use UHaul again. I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to pick up a truck that I had reserved more than 2 weeks out. When I finally found the location, the appliance dolly I reserved and the furniture pads were not there. I had to drive 30 miles back to another location to get those items. Then, I was charged an extra $59 for 4 hours over the time. I wish to dispute this charge and do not think I should be responsible for it. Extremely upset customer.

I ordered a truck and car trailer to be picked-up in the town in which I was living. There was an unfortunate accident with the truck I was to have rented, and was required to travel 30 miles to pick up the equipment. I drove my automobile onto the trailer, but could not securely fasten it, and was forced to leave the auto at the dealer, and ask a friend to take me back to retrieve my auto. I know the dealer is "new" but why was I forced to drive 120 miles for the equipment ? Why was another truck not delivered to my contracted dealer. I wasted over two hours traveling to obtain equipment that I feel should have been made available at the location, or at least the city where I needed it. I am very unhappy with this service.
