It was not obvious where to park the truck or where to return the keys and the employee didn't know how to help us.

Provide a truck where I requested. This truck was not dropped off at this location by a customer, it was transferred here the night before by U-Haul. Pisses me off!!!

Clean the cab of the truck and provide a "no smoking" option for vehicle rentals.

Was told by employee a truck was available at 8:30am so I arranged for my helpers. Then another employee called and told me it was not available until 1:30pm. We were there at 1:15pm and the truck was not available until 2:30. Then the employee didn't know how to check it out and we had to wait for a manager to come from home. When truck returned employee didn't know how to check the truck back in and we had to wait for manager again. Even though I had given my credit card info they demanded my son also leave his credit card information. What a hassle and poor service. I guess we were lucky we didn't drink the Slushie since your employee put windshield wiper fluid in the machine. Dr. O'Connor.

We had reserved blankets/pads, but this location had none. This was a disappointment as we were depending on them. The lady said it showed in the computer that they had them, but they were not physically there.

Make sure the cab is clean and doesn't have soda on the ceiling or in the cupholders. Make sure it's a well marked location, a gas station that does a side business is fine but calling it something cutesy like basin markets is illogical. Tell me my pickup location is the Sinclair gas station on the Northeast corner of... Seriously why don't you name the locations all U-Haul and have big U-Haul signs?!!!! Make sure the person setting up the contract knows what they're doing. Because she was inept the safe move insurance was removed, and despite her telling me we had to check for the Dollie and pads, she somehow couldn't get them in the contract. Between that and the overhead door freezing shut I had to go to another location. That location was easily accessible and easy to spot, because it had giant U-Haul signs and as a ton of trucks out front. However, that location took a while to set up a contract for the Dollie, I should've had from the beginning. She also told me to call to have safe move added on. When I got home I did, only to find I had to do it in store at the original location. Had I known, would've stopped there. The entire pick-up process took over 90 minutes, with the call being approximately 45 minutes additional time. This was time I needed to prepare for my move!!! There was no walk around the truck looking for previous damage, like I've done in the past. There was no chance to inspect the truck at all. The truck should have easily adjustable mirrors and windows that open easily. I never could get the mirrors adjusted and neither could my family who drives trucks for a living!!!
