Trailer was on the side of a liquor store with standing water drainage that smelled terrible. Store cashier was very slow to process my check in. Printer was not working so I received no paperwork - he took a picture of the contract with my phone. No assistance with hooking up the trailer at all. Thank goodness my fiance was with me or I would not have been able to lift it and hook it up. No inspection of the trailer was made with me when I picked it up or dropped it off. I usually go to a U'haul specific place to pick up my equipment, but the trailer I wanted was not available and this was the closest place to pick it up.Will never go here again! Not impressed - not a good representation for U'haul!

You over charged me

Cashier/owner made me wait while he filled an ice bucket for beer bottles at register, then received a phone call and had a conversation while I was standing there waiting. The conversation was in a foreign language. After getting off the phone he had me disconnect the tow dolly and move it to where he wanted it. He did not even come outside while I was doing this. It was not a nice area and the liqour store was seedy, dark and uncomfortable. Placement of U-Haul equipment was cramped and hard to navigate.

I didn't get a printed copy of the contract; nor did anyone go over the contract and I didn't sign anything. I photographed the gas mileage prior to driving off the parking lot. Upon returning the truck, I was told the contract did not match the photograph. I needed up paying for the discrepancy in the gas mileage. NOT FAIR!

Picking up from a liquor store is less than ideal. The clerk was nice but had a very strong accent and was very difficult to communicate with. The vehicle was clean but had less gas than was on the contract (1/4 vs. 1/3). I brought it to the attention of he clerk and he initialed the paperwork. The price was much higher than what I was quoted on the phone (almost $50).

The location is in a bad part of town and it was difficult to communicate with the store clerk.

Make sure that the trailer has brake lights adapter and marker lights that work.

No one helped unhook the trailer. The place looked like it was just opening. It took 15 minutes to get a receipt after I unhooked the trailer by myself. The trailer wasn't inspected before I left so it could have been damaged they wouldn't have known.

He charged me 50 $ for i have left the lock on the trailer. I told him to cut the lock, He said he cant do it and has to bring a locksmith to do it.

Only one person working and he had no idea on how to return a trailer. Had to call someone. I had to unhook the trailer on my own and put it up. The location was in a very bad part of town.

If the person (worker) responsible for receiving the truck asks the customer to put the keys in the drop box and doesn't check the truck until over 30 minutes later, then the customer should not be charged for an extra day for that worker's lack of urgency.

It was good until the worker at the liquor store tried to keep selling me booze, even after I told him I was an 18 year recovering alcoholic I thought this was disrespectful and greedy to make sales. what is this world coming too?
