The vehicle was available but had minor damage to both sides and was dirty in the cab. When I pointed out the damage the gentlemen placed little x stickers on the truck to mark scratches/damage but had not place on the rental form to indicate this.

This was the worst experience I have had moving, period! I have moved over 10 in the same amount of years and this was the absolute worst experience yet. The pick up location Charged my card twice and still could not give me a receipt for me to leave the pick up location. This caused me to behind on my schedule to meeting with the movers at my apartment. I had to use my credit card for a third charge of over $800 just to make it back in time to meet my movers. I attempted to contact the local fleet manager who answered the phone twice and after not being able to fix the double charge, stopped answering the phone. And still to this day has not returned my calls to address this issue. This customer service is unacceptable and I would not wish it on anyone else having to move. Additionally, possibly related, however unconfirmed is the fact that after my interaction with this pick up location and their failure to cancel over $1600 of an unwarranted charge, my credit card information was stolen. My information was stolen and charges ranged from $100-$150, I caught it in time and had to cancel my primary card in the middle of my move because of questionable customer service, professionalism and potential identity theft associated with this location. Never again will I use a U-Haul and what I recommend anyone utilize the pick up location in Rockville.

Keeping accurate records of what is agreed on at the time that the contract is signed would be a good start. I had a quote of roughly $75 and was charged $300. I had to make numerous calls and file complaints to get the money refunded back to my account. over a week later and there is still $200 that is outstanding on my contracted amount. How dare you! Terrible experience And Fuck that asshole Jay for letting this matter escalate without so much as picking up the phone or returning a call. He texted me 8 days after I raised concerns about what I was being billed. What is this, Jr High? I would think a phone call, an explanation, and an apology would be in order for the hap hazard way my finances were treated. UHaul can eat a dick starting with Jay

Staff was nice. Facility was not. Gas gauge mark was not accurate. Told the truck used lots of gas and to fill up, yet it only used little, and the 1/8 departure tank was more than half full when returned. It was a $30 unnecessary expense.
