I was disappointed to find 5 inches of packed snow and ice on the windshield. When I asked the attendant for assistance, she handed me a squeegee. Of course, the heater didn't work, so that was of no use. It took me and my son 15 minutes to clear the windshield. The storm was two days earlier so it seems to me windshields could have been cleared ahead of time.

When I arrived to this location, the employee came outside to greet me and offer assistance in unloading the vehicle. The employee made sure that everything was okay with the U-haul, and that I had a smooth drive. The employee also helped me unload the vehicle. The employee checked in on me after assisting another customer to ensure that I had no more questions. I appreciated the effort and service that was delivered. This was a very stressful move.

There was a pot roach in the ash tray and ashes all over the dash. But overall the truck was clean. Also the wire guide on the back door was broken making it difficult to open and close.

My problem wasn't the location itself, but U-Haul's computerized self-checkout system. When I picked up the truck, the location had reported the truck to have about 100,000 miles more on it than it did, so it would not allow me to complete the process myself, telling me to "take a more recent photo." I had already been there for over 20 minutes trying to make it work and needed to get going, so I called U-Haul's customer service, where the gentleman I spoke to insisted it was my fault but couldn't explain why. He told me that I was in the right truck and it was in my name, but it was my fault the system wouldn't take the pictures of the correct mileage.Number one, that is terrible customer service. Number two, it is not my fault that the mileage was reported incorrectly BEFORE I had ever seen the truck. Fortunately, the woman I spoke with when returning the vehicle (as the check-in system obviously would also not work correctly) was much more helpful and set it up where I could email the pictures I had in my phone of the start and end of my rental to record the mileage and gas.
