I was scheduled to take the truck back to Z Auto. If you had questions about them on here, I would give them zero stars. When we arrived with the truck, they didn't want us to drop it off there and sent us to Sir Spotswood. Kudos to Sir Spotswood - they were very professional and took good care of us, but I have nothing good to say about Z Auto, and will avoid them when it comes to renting a truck.

Just a terrible experience is all I can say! The owner heard my story and the issues yet assumed no responsibility but that he was sorry. Needs to find another business so he doesn’t affect the precious time of other people as he obviously doesn’t care. It’s just sad how people are once they know they have your business. I believe in treating others as you would want to be treated. People are just people, but I’m so grateful that God is always good

I received a quote prior to renting for about $130 for less than 24 hours usage. They charged me for 3 days and I still have not received proper credit. Was charged double about $266 and finally received a $39 credit which still is not correct.

Not going to tell whole story because it was so many things wrong from customer service to vehicle maintenance. I couldn't get a return call for days. Also in working in a service department for years I know what Check Engine Light is and reasons why it comes on. Was told it wasn't a problem 3 days later. So it felt like I was accused of lying or like I didnt know what I talking about. Gave me $10 off ... went return to this uhaul even though its convenient to where I live.

It was a far drive from where we were (every other place was booked), but our interaction with Cheryl (Cherlynn?) made it absolutely worth it. She was a pleasure to talk to, immediately put us at ease and made us feel at home, and was extremely helpful. This was the single best UHaul experience I've ever had, and I can't say enough good things about the customer service.

The truck has over 100K and should be replaced. Don't understand the charge, I only used the truck from less than six hours for one day!!!

No one contacted me to let me know the location had changed. They were out of trucks so I had to call uhaul and figure out where they had a truck for me since my transaction was canceled and no one told me.

Problems with u-haul webpage. Select a pickup location was displayed, but every time I selected a location, the next page said not available. Frustrating. Had to call the corporate to make the reservation. They screwed up even more when I was charged two extra days, and I turned in the trailer a day earlier than contracted for. U-haul corporation is a big mess.

for a place like virginia charging folks .89 cents a mile local travel is a RIP OFF. nothing is closer than 25 miles around the these country parts. my mileage was more expensive than the actual truck & trailer rental and i only used a 1/8 tank of gas! an improvement would be cheaper mileage! thanks

The company will not return my call requesting an explanation of charges. I have called and emailed , and I have been informed only Sonny can review what is in the computer. However he was not there when I rented , and the very nice Office rep was very capable in her computer files showing my information.

Mileage on the truck was wrong as well as the gas level. This required some coordination between the site and I guess some Uhaul management. This was handled very well by the pick up location. She was very polite and professional.

I reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance n i called to confirm before moving n they had no reservation..but they reserved a truck after the fact so everything worked out.

Self pick up is a joke. The location had two trucks and I was given the identification number of one that looked rough and was behind a security fence. I had to call U-Haul customer service White explained that there was another 26’ on the lot and that t was my truck. Customer support said they were updating my file. After making the 4 trips, of 10 miles each max, plus load and unload of the truck I returned it (only had the truck for 5 hours). Upon return I was told I would be charged for 306 miles. This is not possible and there is no one at the location for me to speak with. I called U-Haul again and was told they would ask the agent not to process my charge until this issue was sorted out. I will not use U-Haul again and will tell friends that choose to to stay away from self pick up and drop off.
