I was not walked around the truck and introduced to the operations of the truck. I had reserved a furniture dolly and there was not one available. I was sent to another location and it was very difficult to find and the lady there called all of the Russellville, Arkansas locations and no one had the dolly. She finally found one in Dardanelle, Ark, upon which I got lost. I wasted the first day of rental looking for a dolly that I had already reserved. The receipt had a different address from my original drop off location, of which again I got lost. After all, there was no GPS in the truck. I was unaware of the insurance being charged for everyday. I thought the one price of $42 took care of the insurance for the total time of rental. I hope I never have to rely on U-Haul ever again!! It was more expensive than I had expected and caused a very stressful and trying event. Joyce

When you say pick up at 9 am be there ready to serve customer at 9 am not 20 minutes later. His excuse was he has partied to much night before.

My car was put on an auto transporter and the person did not know how to safely put the wheel cables on. The underneath chain was not attached either. I had to drive to another UHAUL in Russellville and have it checked to make sure I would not loose my car during transport. I had to ask for the trailer lights cord to so the trailer lights could be attached. However, there were no working tail lights on this trailer. I didn't discover this until I drove from Arkansas to Kansas. Four miles from my point of departure, there was a blowout on the trailer. Had to wait over 2 hours to get this fixed. Very unhappy.

1) I believe the truck needs a front-end alignment, as it would tend to slightly drift on its own while I was driving; it acted like it needed additional toe-in. 2) There was no Owner's Manual in the glove box, and I was unfamiliar with some of the dashboard controls. An Owner's Manual would have been nice to save me having to take the time to safely figure things out. 3) I paid for this rental with cash, and was required to leave an additional $100.00 deposit. When I left the truck and transporter at the drop-off location, it was Saturday evening at about 18:30 and the U-Haul section was closed. When I called the drop-off location Monday about getting my deposit refunded, I was told that it would probably be "left on the books" as a credit towards my next rental, since I paid the $100 to the pick-up location and it would count against the drop-off location if they paid me the deposit. This is unacceptable -- I may not need another rental for years. How do I get my $100.00 deposit back? 4) I averaged 7 MPG for the 300-mile trip. I suppose this is normal for a loaded 20' truck pulling a loaded transporter.
