I went to drop off the truck I guess the manager went to open the door on the door it said they were open at 10 when in fact they didn't open till 11 he was very rude directing me outside to look at the sign that said open at 11 I simply threw the keys in the Dropbox and left worst experience I've ever had in my life

Where do I begin? I had a 3:30pm appointment to pickup the truck, however I was going to be ~20 minutes late, so I called to let them know. The guy that answered the phone didn't seem to care; that I was going to be late, or about anything, in general. I arrived and walked into the furniture store. When I sat down to go through the paperwork and get the keys, the guy at the front counter, whom I presume answered the phone (no personality), tells me that he doesn't have the furniture dollies which I requested at the time I placed the order as these are imperative to our move. I asked him if I would be refunded and he told me he had no idea; it was basically up to me to find out and that I was SOL because he didn't have them. Then he asked me if I paid, and I told him I was doing express check-in. After that he made a sigh of relief and tossed the keys to me on the counter and told me "just take it!". I went out to the truck to check-in (which that's another story because U-Haul's site wouldn't load after I uploaded my driver's license photo, so I had to call customer service to finish the check-in, which they were great!). When I was at the truck, another guy brought out the moving blankets I requested, and I asked him if I purchased these to keep or to rent, and if I should bring them back. He shrugged his shoulders at me, and said "I don't know!" These guys didn't seem to know much, and were of NO HELP! C'mon U-Haul, get it together! I should have known, picking up a U-Haul at a ghetto furniture store downtown... I guess I shouldn't have expected much; but their lack of customer service is unforgivable! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS STORE! 5 STAR FURNISHINGS SHOULD BE ZERO STAR FURNISHINGS!!!! HORRIBLE!

the uhaul website let me book before the store opened using the feature to unlock with my phone. When I arrived at my scheduled time, my Uhaul was not ready for me and the store didn't open for 2 hours. I lost 2 hours of moving time and my friends time. Once the store opened, everything went smoothly. the truck could have used some dusting though

The couple who owns the rental are friendly and helpful; however, their hired help who manages the desk has a poor attitude and low work ethic. I arrived several minutes earlier to pick up my rental and was brushed aside rudely - forced to wait a good half hour when the man clearly had time to help me. The owner had to step in and I was out in five minutes. Additionally, when I returned my rental truck, the same rude worker refused to sign me out and instead, the owner's wife had to take care of my return, which also took less than five minutes. As someone who also works in the service business, I get it: it's not easy to satisfy every customer. However this man made me feel deeply uncomfortable and lowered my overall impression of the business, despite the help I received from the owners. I do hope that the next time I ever come here again, this worker either has a better attitude or will have moved to a different job.

I had my pick up location relocated a day before my move which was an inconvenience, but could manage even though it was time sensitive when I picked up my truck due to a funeral. I go to the new location and the guy has no idea of my scheduled pick up. Also does not have the truck I need. I call the uhaul number was saying I was supposed to pick it up on the opposite side of town... and then find out I was supposed to pick it up ata completely different location which is a total of 4 different with in 24 hrs. I was very disappointed and angry do to the ridiculous planning of the truck after it was confirmed 2 days prior my truck i reserved a week in advanced would be where I requested it. The pick up location was ok. Mainly the uhaul planning was Ridiculous! I tried to get a truck the week before by walk in, but trucks were all sold out. I had no problem with that due to poor planning on my part. So I reserved a truck for the following week and have had a horrible experiance.
