The truck was not ready for us at the reserved time which in turn cost me 2 hrs more ($115.00 extra) for movers since they were on time. A credit was given for $50 and no mileage costs, yet we weren't told what level of gas to bring it back with. Biggest issue is that it seems that the system the reservations are taken on doesn't integrate with the system the actual UHaul locations are using so when I picked up my UHaul the guy said he couldn't see my reservation. One, this wasn't my problem. Two, this should probably be re-evaluated.

We were supposed to pick up truck at a certain location at 7 a.m. Got an email the day before saying we could pick it up after 9 a.m. at a different place I called and talked to some girl who totally did not know what she was talking about because she kept insisting over and over that I was wrong even though I had an email. My husband and son finally went to ANOTHER location and got a truck. I was very frustrated thinking we would never get our truck and get this move done.

The trailer was not safe to be used on the road. Both tires were nearly bald and were cupped all around the circumference. There were wires hanging down almost touching the pavement. I refused to rent the trailer offered. I was directed to another location, where they had more trailer options. They were helpful and switched out the unsafe trailer to a safe one. However, when I returned the trailer, they could not figure out the paper work because of the trailer swap out. It took from Sunday to Tuesday to get the bill and receipt settled. Overall the trailers in the fleet are just extremely old and worn out. There does not seem to be any quality control in the system to check rentals from one return to the next rental. What can we do to improve for the next customer???? Introduce new trailers into your fleet on an accelerated pace. Provide a quality check after each rental is returned to provide a safe vehicle for the next customer.

Train people hooking up equipment. They did not know how to move the trailer and did not hook the chains or tighten to the ball. When loading vehicle the trailer disconnected and lifted in the front. You guys are pretty lucky no damage was caused to my truck.

The first 2 locations were horrible. The 2nd on Vance Jackson the man was rude when I questioned the truck size( uhaul chged my size wo asking) sent me 45 min across town. Very difficult to deal w. Thanks for the Summitt location where the service was outstanding and efficient . I received many emails w location chges, confirmations, and at the end they were all wrong from what I ordered online. The Summitt location was the only good part of the experience .

The dudes at Summit were extremely helpful and accommodating. I returned the truck after hours and they were honest with the mileage and billing. They were fast, VERY friendly, and helpful. I only hope the next time I need a truck, they will be the ones I rent from.

I do not move furniture a lot, but took for granted that a 10' truck, that sits 3 1/2 feet off the ground, that is advertised to move a 1 bedroom or studio apartment would come with either a lift gate or a ramp. The truck I was given did not. I was told that I should have ASKED for the ramp. I made the reservation online, and NO WHERE on the website did it indicate that a ramp was optional equipment. The truck was unusable to us, and I returned it, without moving anything.

Considering I was supposed to pick up on Saturday in Hondo, Tx then I get a phone call at 5:00pm from U-Haul telling me the store in Hondo is closed on Saturday I told the lady told me on phone they were open until 1200noon. I was told no they were closed fro the holidays nad then she said UHaul had no 26' trucks I could get a 20' truck if I was able to get to the placce withing the hour since they closed at 6:00pm. I said I would and she agreed to not charge me for any extra days and gave extra milieage. I picked up the truck and a 4x8 trailer. The equipment ran well and drove good. Luckily my daughter's friend had a truck since we filled the 20' and the 4x8 trailer and had two more items left.

when someone orders a utility dolly, and its not included when the truck is picked up, there should be some adjustment in the final bill. i was informed that they would see what they could do to adjust my bill after i pointed out it wasnt in the truck like my order stated it would to actually adjust my bill. i recieved no discount. this uhaul place was horrible from the customer service to the quality of the service provided. i am very upset over this

Front right tire on trailer was pretty much dead flat. Since two axle, didn't notice it on way out with empty trailer, but had to go find air to air it up on way back with a car on it. Thought you should know to check that tire. Pretty sure it was front right. Other than that, rental was great.

They were somewhat helpful, but VERY slow. There's no way I should've been standing at the counter for 20 minutes while guy was on computer "checking me in". I also had to unhook the trailer and move it myself as.
