Tried to give me a truck that had a different mileage than the paperwork then swapped out the truck and I got a truck with a bag wheel alignment. Would not recommend renting from this company anymore

Customer service needs to be better. Didn't bother to show me or walk around & didn't tell me that gas gadget was broken.
This location and the Fast Gas and Propane location were poorly run, disorganized, and did not have the right materials. I requested a 15ft truck and it was not available so I ended up at the Valero location. The new location did not have the dollies, furniture pads, or anything else I requested along with the vehicle. Had to fill out my information multiple times after doing the online check-in system.
The workers were rude! they are giving uhual a bad look With there arrogant nonchalant attitudes up there at the Valero Gasoline station in San Lorenzo Ca location,they have poor customer service , when there internet went down I waited over 1hr they called customer service and put them on speaker saying my personal info out loud, the customer service rep instructed them not to do so the told me to call on my own phone ,they made me feel uncomfortable even after Ipatiently Dealt with there discrepancies .
Store/office was closed at the time of my reservation pickup. Had to wait 30min for an attendant to arrive. Terrible check in experience.

Pick up location was a gas station, hence the average rating. It was just a mile from our location. Attendant was friendly and helpful, pick up easy, facility was clean, for a gas station.
Customer service was horrible i had to wait for the agent to finish playing his game on his phone to be checked in i feel like i was overcharged i am very unsatisfied

I had problems getting into my uhaul only because there was no parking for my car. So I had to leave catch a lyft and come back. Then my reservation was cancelled because I was late...the customer service people really helped me get it going and I am thankful and appreciative for them. Thank you. What seemed like a headache was resolved and expedited to help me along. Thank you again.
Be on time. I had to wait for someone to come and open the place so that I can get the truck . I didn't get the truck at my reserved time
My only complaint is that I was charged $10 for a dolly but didn't get a dolly in my rental truck. The authorized dealer of Uhaul refuse to help me dispute this.
Excellent Customer Service
I was charged over $120.00 more than I was quoted online. The agent was dismissive when I told him the location I reserved online was not this location and we did not reserve a 9am reserved time because our flight wouldn't even land until after 10am. He repeated we were lucky the truck was still available. Our original old location reservation was reserved after 12 noon. I told him we had called at least 3 times and left messages that we were on our way because no one answered the phone each time we called. He did not have reply to that - not even an apology for not answering his phone at least three times. I was completely dissatisfied with the service I received. When entering the truck there were old water bottles in the truck cup holders, 1/8 tank of gas in the truck, and old paperwork in the glove compartment. My biggest issue was the over charge. I would like an explanation of why there was such a big difference in price online vs price at this location.
First off, the attendant couldn't find the keys to the truck that was originally reserved for me so he looked for a second truck which turned out to be unavailable and then he found a third truck for me. The gas tank on the truck was not full which was fine as long as I wasn't going to be charged for it as being a full gas tank. I informed the attendant and I took pictures of the gas tank indicator for proof. I filled the tank up just the way it was when I picked up the truck. I checked my account this morning and they did in fact overcharge me for the gas that I should or have not been charged for because it wasn't a full tank. I've called the location a few times to dispute the extra charges and there's no answer so now I have to drive over there. My experience was was not that great. What was supposed to be about a $50 or $60 dollar total charge has now when up to $85 for extra bullshit that I didn't sign up for. I am not happy!
UBER to P/U truck but Reservation was switched to different location. Sat on hold with customer svc for an hour to get reserve back to original. Truck was a mess with windshield weather strip falling off...window cranks broke...bird droppings took 20 min to clean all glass.
The man's English was very limited and was unable to answer any of my questions regarding charges. He did communicate that I should call 1-800-UHaul. I called customer service and waited over 15 minutes to be connected to a representative. I hung up and will probably never attempt to call U-Haul customer service again.
The personnel in the gas station were rude and not helpful. The pick-up process was confusing, the gas station attendant had the keys instead of the keys being locked outside in a box. Also upon return the attendant rudely asked for a return confirmation, which in my view isn't necessary when Mobile Pick-Up/Return options was selected
The owner is easy to deal with and very accommodating
