I had a 4pm scheduled pick up and nobody was there. Knocked and went around looking for someone to help, but couldn't find anyone. Had to call Uhaul, who then put us in touch with the local facility team, who were incredibly rude to us - even though they were 45 minutes late. They immediately complained that we were a nuisance and that they "make no money off of this uhaul so we shouldn't care that they were late." Well, unfortunately, we had to rent a specific time-slot to move our couch into our apartment so that 45 minutes was critical. We had asked if there was any way to get a discount since we sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes and we were told that we were "impatient brats". I will never do business with this local facility again - was looking forward to a simple transaction but they really made us uncomfortable and ruined it for us.

Your 24/7 service did not work at the pick-up location. We kept getting a message that our gps location was not at the pick-up site. Wasted 45 minutes there due to that and waiting on the owner and another customer.

The main issue was that the location I had chosen originally did not exist anymore but had not been removed from the website. I called customer Service and was sent to another site. I was closed. I called again and was sent to another site. That one was also closed. Took me an hour to try and return a rental truck. I finally called and asked if I can drop it off at a 24 drop off site.

Got moved there the day before when called to see what was going on with the rental I was referred to the 800 number. The next morning it was an additional 30 min drive to the location and called to confirm with no answer. Got there and no body was there.. I called the number on the door and got someone I thAt I couldn't understand because I was on speakerphone got disconnected/hung up on got a phone call back from general manager about 10 min later. Owner must have had an emergency? Would have been nice to know.

Difficult to drive into and park a 26' truck with auto trailer. No one was available and could not contact them on the phone. They returned call a day later.

I have three major issues: 1) I asked that the credit card used would be the one I handed to them, it instead went on the debit card that I used for reserving the truck and trailer. This caused several overdraft fees of about $200 to be made on my debit card. 2) The trailer was an extra 100 miles from the truck pickup location and although the drop off location compensated some, it did not cover the extra expenses of gas, time, and going over my alloted miles. 3) While the trailer tire may have had air when I picked it up, by the time I reached my destination the rear passenger tire was flat due to a nail in the tire. (I am doubtful I picked up the nail on the drive to my destination, I think it was there the whole time with a small leak.) This caused an unexpected extra expense of fuel to be used and excess mileage. Another note: I tried to call customer service to talk to someone about these issues and could not reach anyone. Please call me to help resolve these issues. I might not use, or recommend uhaul in the future due to these issues.

I reserved a car dolly Friday, Dec 1 in the evening. I traveled through the night, from St Paul, MN arriving in Yorkville IL at 9:30 am, Dec 2. I called the U-Haul dealer in Sandwich, IL at 9:30 am Saturday morning to confirm the car dolly, but I had to leave a phone message. Upon arriving at the The U-haul location in Sandwich, IL at 11:30 am, I found the business unattended, when I arrived to pick up the car dolly I had reserved. I once again called and left a voice message. The call was returned 15 minutes later. I waited for over an hour to pick up the car dolly I rented. Returning my call at 9:30 am would have eliminated my waiting to pickup the car dolly!

Truck ran light shit, believe it was a 15 foot not a 17 foot brake light stayed on truck I believe from e-brake had to stop and reset 2 times or better to get light off, also made a squealing noise when you got up to 50 miles per hour, truck needs a over haul, shocked we didn't break down, then when I called for a different truck I got put in voice mail land. We looks other places when needed again. Not happy at all.

The location was easy to find, but no one was able to check me out upon return. The man at the desk just took my key and threw it on a desk and was very unprofessional. I would have preferred he do a walk around and check the gas gauge with me.The store front looks like an old barn from 1930. I would not recommend this location for pickup or drop off.

The trailer safety chains were about a foot too long. Had to use tie wraps to keep them from dragging.

This was NOT my preferred location, the location in Mendota, IL is a PUPPY MILL! They are not professional and they need to be stripped of their U-Haul rental status! I will never use U-Haul again. This location was very nice, with a very nice person working there but it was 40 minutes away from the location I picked with NO notification of a change in location!

This was not even the location I originally was confirmed to go to! Actually this was the SECOND location I was moved to over 30 miles from where I made my reservation with UHAUL! I reserved a truck 5 days in advance just to be called the day before and told I had to drive 18 miles out of my way to pick it up and that my time was delayed as well due to someone not returning a truck, I then receive a call an hour before I'm supposed to pick up the truck and was informed yet again they did not have a truck for me! So now I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to another new location to pick up a truck ALL while I had movers I paid waiting on the truck and also adding 60 miles round trip on my own vehicle as well as having to pay for the extra gas in the uhaul! I am disgusted at what I was put through and the fact that my bill was still over 100 dollars after dealing with the last minute major disruptions from uhaul not having their end together! I had to pay extra gas to go that far out of my way and I had to pay movers a larger fee due to being delayed by UHAUL and I am literally so upset this is how paying customers get treated by this company! Something else should of been compensated after the hell I was put through dealing with this company! I will make sure to find a completely different rental company for any future needs

When we dropped off the trailer no one was there, so I called the number on the door and left a message asking to return my call to verify that we dropped of the trailer. No one returned my call.
