Made reservation 1.5 weeks in advance. Received a call the morning of the move and was told there was no truck and could pick up at alt location. Went to alt location and they did not have the dolly I reserved. When returning at 1pm nobody was at location

My pick up was fine, the problem I have is with scheduling via phone and/or online. I had called for a reservation of a Utility Trailer only to find out it was ordered as a Cargo Trailer. It was evening and I could not get anyone to help fix the matter. The following morning I had to call in again to have it fixed within hours of needed the trailer. I will also say that this is the 2nd time in the past year that I have used Uhaul and both times, the equipment had faulty issues. The 1st time we were stuck in the middle of nowhere and had to wait 1-1/2 hours in 104 degrees for service. Your equipment needs to be inspected thoroughly before sending it out again (electrical, tires, oil, etc). I have not been impressed with Uhaul and will be looking elsewhere the next time I need to rent equipment.

I have to say - I was super impressed with your automated check in system on your web site (since the facility I reserved my truck at was closed the day I picked up) - although I don't know if everyone would intuitively know that is available - but I was glad I figured it out. However, the truck I was left to use was pretty banged up on the outside and not the neatest on the inside either - but it was usable - thus my overall rating of "above average".

The trailer I requested almost a month prior was not available except at a location 40 miles away. Please make an effort to have the requested item available, as this location then substituted a larger trailer at higher cost.

U-haul in general should get some trucks with extended cabs. The seats are uncomfortable to say the least. Our pick-up location had the doors wide open but we couldnt find anyone for about 10 minutes. Very strange.

The amount of gas noted was incorrect. The gal delivered the truck out front and I didn't notice until I had driven off. When I Immediately called, she was gone and closed. No return phone call. NO MORE will I do business with Uhaul.

I had to wait 25 minutes to pick up my rental. When I returned less than an hour later, I had to wait another 20. Then came back within the first hour because the item I was picking up did not fit in the van. That part I know is not U-Hauls fault. however, when I asked if I could get switch to a larger truck so I could got a mile to get the item, the attendant said "Maybe...no." He did not seem like he wanted to help at all.
