The process after hours using the online pick up... Took too long to get any sort of update from the site on if someone was reviewing or confirming my Id... I felt bad for the person who drove me to pick up the truck because they had to wait longer than seemed necessary. Even if the little chat box had some auto response saying "a person will be reviewing your id momentarily..." I just remember a few minutes went by after submitting the images when I wasn't even sure the thing was working properly because I sent a couple messages with no response. I like that uhaul is adapting to the possibilities of digital pick ups but I think this "refinement" I'll call it could really help people feel confident that the process works and if they aren't trying to falsify their Id they shouldn't have any problems. Also, couldn't this be done with some sort of facial recognition? Identify the facial areas of the pictures and compare?

1. Wait times are horrible 2. I waited 20 minutes on my reserved truck while the rep stood there typing on the computer at no time explaining to me what is going on. Everyone in front of me receive their truck in less than 5 minutes. I get my truck, it is old and decrepit, shaking as if each part is going to fall off after reaching 45+ miles...horrible experience

I did my complete paperwork on line. There were 2 people working when I arrived at 9:10 a.m. one person was new and being trained but could not finish the rental. There was one person in front of me. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish the rental. This was after a third employee came, a lady. The original gentleman did the paperwork then he sent the lady out to attach the trailer. While we were putting it on, he came and told her to help customer 4 with a propane tank. She left to handle that. After waiting another 15 minutes, I went to tell her I needed to leave because someone was waiting on me. She finally came and finished hooking up the trailer. She was more helpful than the man.

Was upgraded from 5x8 trailer and was scheduled to pick-up said trailer at 3pm, no trailer available at 3pm, see 5x8 in yard, take that even though had changed plans to use the 6x12 that I SCHEDULED to receive. Has to drive 10 miles out of my way to NOT get what I had scheduled and pre-registered to get.

Wash the van! I could not see out of the windows for the grime. I washed them myself. Don't charge hidden fees!!! You added $1 for an "environmental" fee, and $1 for a "no fault" fee, even though I am insured by Ford Motor company. Neither of these fees was disclosed before I took the van. Why you want to piss off your customers (excuse my language) with hidden fees is beyond me. You would do better to raise your base fees $2, than disappoint and enrage customers as the last thing in the custoomer interaction sequence. This is a very bad pricing and customs relations strategy. Time to wise up!

Two small modifications on the Cargo Van, which I rented, would be nice to have: a master lock (now all the doors must be locked individually) and a bit of an extra space behind the seats, so that they could recline during breaks in driving.
