There was a lady in the office that was rude and talked to 2 of the other employees in an inappropriate way. Also, the van I rented had clearly been used to transport marijuana. It reeked of marijuana, but overall it did the job. Also, there was a huge scratch on the van when I took possession of it.

The UHaul/Spokane employees were friendly. One question that i didn't know to ask was "how do i drive into the UHaul/Seattle/Ballard location to return the truck? i had no idea that would be an issue, but it was. The UHaul/Seattle/Ballard truck entrance is not on the actual street listed as the address on the website, so that caused a problem when returning the truck. the UHaul/Seattle/Ballard employee told me there was a red flag or some sort of !!!!!notification!!!! on my account that the Spokane personnel should have seen and conveyed to me. But, that didn't happen, so there was confusion when returning the truck in Seattle. otherwise, there were no surprises between booking a truck on the website and picking it up in Spokane. and, UHaul/Spokane didn't have the small truck i reserved so i was given a larger truck for the price of the smaller one. that was terrific. all in all it was a good experience, and i'll rent from UHaul again when i need to move something.

fillup the gas tank before it leaves the lot. I rented a cargo van, drove 16 miles and when I got gas it took 2.473 gallons of gas. The lot attendant thought that since the paperwork said to expect less than that I should have known better. Wrong! if you tell someone to return the tank full take care of the issue on your end also. 6.47mpg.

So, one person spoiled the experience and his manager was advised along with the other person working when he was being not customer servicey. Maybe is good doing other stuff there, but should not be helping customers. Everyone else was great, but the front parking lot is a mess with the customer cars and trucks being right in front. They need to move customer cars to the back lot on the weekends. This guy was disrespectful more than once--so much so that my son was getting mad. I think that everything else went well and the only reason I gave it an average is because others were helpful to make sure we had a good experience after being treated poorly by this kid. Thanks for this survey!

The readout on the truck I was given said that there was a problem with the tire inflation system. If I was U-Haul I wouldn't have rented it. The fuel gauge made it look like it was full. I drove the truck a total of 24 miles yet when I filled the tank it took 7.5 gallons of fuel. It is not good business to knowingly cheat the customer. U-Haul should require all their dealers rent their trucks with a full tank.

Did the online speed checkout to "cut your wait time in half." Good thing, because I can't imagine waiting an hour and a half! Yes, 45 minutes is speedy, apparently. The location makes pick-up and drop-off quite a cluster. It also seems they are understaffed, which doesn't help, but I ended up having to go through the rental process three times. Once online and TWICE in the store, because the guy in line ahead of me, drove off with the truck rented out to me! How you can let someone jump into a truck and drive off without checking to make sure they're in there right one is beyond me. On top of it, I was the one who found this out when I was verifying milage/gas and the numbers weren't even close. "Oh! That guy took your truck, I guess." So they had to figure out how to "switch the contracts" which took another 20 minutes. The truck wasn't in particularly great shape either (rented out two other trucks the previous weekends which were good). The loading door was pinching on the rails and very difficult to raise/lower. Guessing it's because someone had smashed into a roof or tree and torqued the whole box. Figured that out when I went to unload stuff from the "grandma's attic" and found the items soaking in a couple gallons of water from the shoddily repaired/patched roof. Yes, there is a sticker in the truck that says it is "water resistant, not water proof," but the massive leak was just absurd! No refunds, discounts, or any other compensation offered. Did get an apology about the leak from the guy who checked it in, but "sorry" doesn't feed the cat.

The man who checked the van for me to take was VERY kind and helpful 10/10!! The lady who checked the van back in.. was the exact opposite while she was huffing at me she took two other Customers all of this happened while another employee (young gal with longer hair) sat on her phone chewing her gum like a cow and made several rude comments.

I picked up my trailer. I went to move some wood and found the job was canceled. I was back to the rental facility within 45 minutes. I asked for a rain check because I would be renting the trailer again within 4 days. The manager said no and charged me the full price. I will be looking for another rental facility to rent my trailers from in the future.

Truck was received dirty. The inside of the cab was sticky and dirty. The inside loading bed was dirty, there was sticky stuff on the floor and we found kitchen utensil in the attic area. The gas pedal in the truck stuck more than once to where we had to pull the pedal up with our foot. Scary!

1st tow trailer could not be found as one from inventory,after hitching 2nd tow trailer found ratchet straps too rusted to operate correctly,one later became stuck,also lights began to flicker and inspection showed damaged wiring at 4 flat connector. Ended up needing to return tow trailer early due to no lights and lamp assembly falling out of fender. Female employee seen and heard vomiting in bathroom,then within 5 minutes she used uhaul intercom to ask other employees "who wants some mcdonalds". Not at all satisfied with this experience,would hope this message to you results in your inspection and management training for this location,and a refund for my aggravations and inconveniences should be considered. Won't use uhaul again,and have serious doubts you will ever contact me or work to fix a poorly operating uhaul location. Thank you
