Person super helpful. The trailer leaks. We drove during a storm and our stuff was soaking wet. We had cardboard boxes. Big mistake

Well there is nothing the very nice retailer good have done but they received the truck back that I was renting first thing in the morning full of trash. I helped him unload a whole truck full of trash in the trash bin and I was late bringing the truck back 30 minutes because I did not receive the truck in time and the system charged me for 2 days, that's with 2 days of dolley rentals too. I really don't think it was fair. The retailer said it's an online system so there was nothing he could do. He was very nice and I don't shoot the messenger but I just think it was not fair to me. Thanks for the rental, it's just hard to explain to the wife the additional expense when I did so much.

Clerk had no idea how to check a truck back in. Was told to come back in the late evening. Thank God we could do it online. Found that out trying to find a customer service number.

This is a small convience store location. No room to park or unlatch a rental trailer. The male who was working the register came out & told me to back the trailer up in the handicapped parking spot. The small side street that the store faces is more like an alley. Making it unsafe to back in with a large vehicle & trailer in tow. He wasn't going to help me detach the uhaul trailer. I told him I was calling uhaul. He went in to the store then back out with gloves. Didnt seem to know what he was doing. I asked for documention of my scheduled on time return. He said he didnt do that at this location. I called uhaul. I explained the situation. I was instructed to do an online return. Was told I need to be near the trailer to scan. Upon attempting this; a police officer escorted me out due to active shooter in the building next door. This is a terrible representation of Uhaul. If this had been my only experience with Uhaul. I would never utilize the service again. I do hope this is an isolated incident.
