My main issue was that I had returned the vehicle early but the site did not record it so I received an email saying the vehicle and dolly were not returned. This type of situation is very concerning because I could have missed this email and the returning of the vehicle is fundamental.
Devlin H500 prince st location went over and above customer service to help me with my rental. It was the most frustrating time I ever had to rent a truck. I booked almost a month prior to my pick up day. Which was Broadway convenience I bought for 20 Ford truck which I didn’t know there was no such thing other than a 15 footer or 26. So assuming from the gentleman at the Broadway convenience he booked me a 26 footer which was way too big for what I needed it for. Off I go to Prince Street auto where I find a 15 foot U-Haul where I weighed us as the gentleman did whatever he could to find out why the truck in his yard was not in the system. He managed to get a customer service representative from U-Haul to help service us to get the truck back in the system so I could go on my way with my rental . Very pleased with the customer service from 500 Prince St. I think the software for U-Haul for booking your own rentals is terrible it crashes it actually takes the customers time away from them. It shouldn’t be the customers responsibility. It should be the location to do the paperwork not the customer , other than that definitely recommend 500 Brent St. for rental I’ll be U-Haul truck all the best in 2024 thank you
