Pick up of the truck took an especially long time. The representative said that the system had been changed and she was still getting used to it. It wasn't a horrible experience, but I expected it to go much more smoothly when picking up the truck.

WHY IS RENTAL NOT 24 HOURS??? Counter staff was robotic in explanation of rented equipment with no details. Store room crowed with boxes that makes entering store complicated and when I asked where I was to go after filling out paper work, employees did not inform me of proper way to exit store. even after asking the second time. LEAVING THE STORE SHOULD NOT BE HARD TO DO. WHAT IF THERE WAS A FIRE??? Person outside did not speak up to tell me of procedure of check out or hook up of trailer. So I wasted time of both employee and myself going back inside to be told rudely to go back out side. ????? WHY WAS TRAILER RENTAL NOT 24 HOURS?????? WHY DID RENTAL EQUIPMENT HAVE TO BE BACK AT 9AM NEXT DAY IF I DIDN'T RENT IT UNTIL ALMOST 11AM?

My check-in experience was a bit confusing. I had an unusual setup where I was the one paying for the truck rental, but someone else was driving, so I expected an extra step, but we were (from my understanding of what went on) essentially required to have the driver rent the truck and pay for it (with my card), even though I was the one paying and making the decisions. It seemed really round-about and like it was a shady way to get around some requirement, rather than a straightforward rental with someone other than the primary customer listed as the driver.

Left doors open in the pouring rain and the door handles filled with water and not cleaned out (the water). Only had 1/8th a tank of gas when they knew we were going to be going 50 plus miles. Used this location before don't think I will again and I will be renting another truck before the month ends.

I asked for the drop off location to be nearest to mukilteo but he used south Lynnwood, not north. This caused some confusion and delay for me as I did not know there were two Lynnwood locations and he just told me to bring it to lynnwood.

I waited in line for about 30 minutes because there was only one person working. She was very nice but was left to both check people in (which already takes to long), then go outside to hook them up with their rental before running back inside to help the next customer in line. I was there for about 45 minutes to pick up a trailer I'd reserved online. I thought an online reservation would expedite pickup.

Not charge full rate for only 6hrs. I was told it's based off availability but the lot was full of trailers. Still full when I returned 6hrs later. Felt like I was ripped off.

Trucks were parked in TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT! With this tight clearance the staff should have pulled the truck out for me. (Clearance was under 1" on each side from the mirrors)

I picket up my 10' U haul truck and made sure to inspect it for dings and scratches beforehand. When I opened the back of the truck it looked very clean so I closed it up and drove it home to start loading. When I stepped in the back of the truck the floor was very sticky and had an odd smell to it. It turns out that the U Haul truck's floor had just been painted and was still wet. I called customer service who connected me to 8 different people until the regional office told me it was fine to lay a tarp on top of the paint so my belongings would not get damaged. I had to ruin a new tarp because the U Haul office had no other trucks for me and would not even take off the extra $10 for a larger, dryer truck. In fact l, they even charged me extra at the end of the transaction even though I had the liability insurence and had to go through all of that trouble. Great location for a U Haul franchise but terrible customerservice. TLDR Check for wet paint before you drive off the lot.

When I arrived to pick-up the cargo van, it was raining & very windy, however, the person helping me with the rental made me walk all the way out to the road, where the van was parked, then bring the van back to the office area. Really? All the employees/staff stayed inside the warm & cozy office, while I got wet & cold!?! This the first time in my life, I had to go get a rental, for the employees/staff!?!? Not to mention, out of all the vehicles out there, I had to figure out which van I was assigned to!?! That was not nice!!
