Everything at location was good. National service, which picked up calls, was not well-informed. Called to see about getting "tow haul" dash light off. I was passed around and put on hold. Found answer myself via google while waiting. Also called to find out surcharge for refueling and the national service did not know. But vehicle and local people were awesome.

Gave me wrong drop off address, drove around for half hour wasting gas then didn't have the money to replace it and was charged my last $11 for it. Called twice to get assistance with the drop off and was still driving aimless because no one helped. The locations weren't the problem the communication and uhaul website need work. I will not be renting from uhaul again.

I reserved a certain size trailer days ahead and someone rented it out before I got there and they couldn't accommodate me anything but a much smaller one. Terrible!

Reserved a truck with furniture dolly, utility dolly, and furniture pads. None of these things were in the truck when I picked it up at the scheduled time. I did not find this out until I was already where I needed to load up. This caused me to need to drive back to uhaul and then I needed to wait about 15 to 20 min for them to get me the utility dolly and furniture pads. I had request the furniture dolly be removed from my bill twice. The only great part was the truck was in excellent condition.

When I first inquired about the rental I was told with the one way trip that I had the truck for 7 days. I later went to Tilton U-haul to reserve it, the girl said 5 days. I told her that I was told 7, so she wrote over the number 5 with pen making it 7. When it got closer to the departure date I got a call confirming the time to pick the truck up, I was again told 5 days. I again corrected this person. (Calling from the regional office from Manchester, NH I believe it was). She apologized. When I went to pick up the truck. During all of the verbiage of the details of the contract and having to decide on insurance options I failed to "again" check for how many days. To my dismay when I did check it and it was 5. This was a great inconvenience and was an extra cost to me as I was all set to unload it on Friday evening and return it on Saturday morning. I have had to unload it at a temporary place and will now have to rent another truck ( not U-Haul) to get my belongings to their final destination. Along the trip I was in contact with the Burlington, IA U-Haul and explained it. He said it had to be back by Thursday morning as it was needed for someone else. Was a very disappointing experience. Seems like the ole Bait and Switch.

The trailer we reserved and confirmed was not available. Apparently, the trailer had been over-booked in spite of the fact that we had confirmed it just a day prior. The clerk, very calm and professional was not able to address the $50 refund promised on line when a reserved piece of equipment was not available.

It was a pleasant experience. The only thing is at the time we made the rental agreement, the employee who took our information said she was giving us the $0.79 price for mileage, not $0.99. But otherwise, we were quite satisfied.

Great experience. We knew we were going to be later on a Sunday night and Monday was a holiday. The truck and equipment was great. We didn't use as many miles as what we estimated. I figured I would call them later to get the billing correct. At 6:50AM on the Monday holiday I received an email with the correct mileage stated. Easy, no hassle, great service. I will use them again.

The battery on the truck died while I was loading the truck at the storage unit. Employees jumped it. The container of moving pads and the dolly take up valuable space inside the truck and are in the way. I didn't need them so I had to remove the dolly to get all my furniture in the truck.
