Inside the car was dirty. Also I rented a van and one dolly. When I get on my house I saw that the guy did not putt the dolly inside the van and I do not have time and money to go back to store. So, I moved all my stuffs without dolly.

I rented a 10 feet truck. It was pretty dirty. I loaded the truck on the next day and so I noticed, just before getting on the road, that it was with a headlight burnt out. But the worse new was when I arrived at my destiny and I delivered the Truck. Despite the fact that I received the truck with absolutely no gas, with the gas alarm beeping, the guy informed on the contract that the truck had 1/4 of gas. Because of this, I had to pay C$66.64 for a gas I didn't use.

Everything went well overall. The back of the truck could have been swept out before I picked it up, but other than that everything went as expected. Staff was good.

I drove just 20 kms and ended up spending $10 at the gas pump, because my instructions were to return the van with a full tank. $10 didn't even fill it since the pump didn't stop... I had just preselected $10 figuring that was more than enough. If you're going to charge a milage rate ($0.59/km), AND ask drivers to return rentals with a full tank, you should ensure the tank is truly full before the next driver uses it. Otherwise, build refueling costs into the milage rate. When I returned the truck, I mentioned the gas to the employee who agreed $10 was too much for just 20 km and he wouldn't charge me for the kms. I got the bill... and was charged in full for the kms. I wasn't looking for a refund when I mentioned it to the clerk, I just wanted to confirm $10 was too much and let him know I didn't agree with it. At the end of the day, I'm only out a few dollars. But don't offer something and then not deliver. That just makes it worse.

The uHaul rates are false advertising. 19.95 a day is a lie. Cost me almost $70 after all the hidden fees. Not happy. Will do everything I can to avoid using uHaul again.

Inform customers of parking alternatives beforehand, in case someone else parks in the spot they're supposed to use. It was very confusing and frustrating after a long, long day and the employee had "back in 20 minutes" posted on the door with a cellphone number to a phone that was turned off.

I had an terrible experience with U-Haul. It was my first time using U-Haul, and I plan on never using it again. The truck smelled like smoke and there was coffee dripped on the dash. Customer service was poor. When we arrived to return the truck, the office was empty. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk. The keys to the other vehicles were behind the desk. If our intentions were not good, we could have walked away with any of the vehicles. Finally, after waiting patiently, the man returned to the desk. Since there was a problem with paperwork, he began to swear in front of us, saying the F word along with other swear words, claiming we were wrong. Even if we were, this is no way to treat customers. He claimed we didn't fill up the truck enough and had to put in $12 of gas for using the 9' pickup truck for 21km. This is impossible! There is no way we used that amount of gas. We did not idle at all. That means we would be using $1.75 of gas PER kilometre!!!!! I didn't want to hear any more swearing, and I didn't want to fight, so I left, filled up the truck, even though I know for a fact that I did not use that amount of gas for 21km of driving. I would NOT recommend using U-Haul for any reason.

The person checking me in was not easy to deal with. The truck was returned late, which meant I had to wait 15 minutes. I asked about U-Hauls $50 credit policy and he became rude and said he would give the $50 credit if I didn't receive the truck. I also mentioned that this delay was keeping the movers I hired waiting which would cost me money - he said that I should have delayed their start time to prevent that issue. When I was leaving, he said if I returned it late, he would charge me $50. Overall, unfriendly experience that was unnecessary - poor customer relations overall.

The person who took care of me was very personable and helpful. Made the experience excellent. He took time to make sure I had my questions answered, patient and didn't mind repeating himself when my hearing issue caused me to need to ask the same thing again.

There needs to be more than one staff member present for Saturday morning pickups, as it was quite busy and our wait time was 40 minutes to get our pre-booked truck. And when we got the truck, it was low on gas so in addition to being charged by UHAUL for mileage, we had to pay out of pocked for a fill up in order to do the move. I would expect in future that the trucks be properly prepped and ready when they are pre-booked online.

Ensure staff are taking their time to ensure accuracy with the billing and other forms. Staff was very friendly but, had two difficulties with the billing and procedures Nonetheless the staff corrected the errors and was very courteous and accommodating to the needs of the customer.

I booked a cube van (1 bedroom size) two weeks in advance, but when l arrived there was not cube van available! Only a cargo van and so l had to scramble around to book another cargo van for a much higher price in order to move all of our stuff! It was very disappointing, not to mention stressful and difficult. So very unhappy with this experience.
