I was insured that the equipment was secured and everything was good to go. I went to pack my belongs and hit the road. Everything was fine until night fall, when I needed lights. The lights on the equipment didn’t not work. Well only the top left light. I got pulled over by the state trooper.

I had to search for a person when I dropped the truck off. I never did find one. After 10 minutes I called the number and spoke with a woman who said for me to put the key in the dropbox even though it was 12:30ish in the afternoon. I finally did as she asked and felt very uncomfortable!

Auto Transporter towed well. One ratchet needed a little work or replacement. The gentleman that helped me was very good. Not a big deal but the office at this location really did not look finished yet and I think it has been there a while. Maybe its being redone. However I noticed lots of problems in the U-Haul computer systems that seemed to be caused by the systems, not the employee users. These took a lot of my time to get fixed prior to the pick up. Problems with the IPhone app as well.

To start with... My truck was not at the location I had asked for. I understand that the location can change but I was not notified ahead of time and I found out about the change in location only after my calling to confirm the time of pick up a couple hours ahead. Make sure trucks are in working order and that electrical hookups are working b4 sending a truck off with customer to be loaded up only to find that when time for customer to come back to pick up car dolly that electrical connections prevent the truck from being connected to Any dolly. The service agent was great but what he had to work with was not. I ended up having to make a round trip back to get my car to my new home which was 350 miles away. Don't know that I will ever use uhaul again.

I returned the truck and did not have all the furniture pads in it and the dolly. I received a call at 7:30 in the morning today from a woman named Ronda Huffman that was not pleasant to talk to at all and in fact was pretty rude. I own a company if I saw one of my employees talking to a customer like she did to me it would not be present for them. I return the pads and the dolly to find out I was actually already charged for the missing items and an extra day with the truck. The two employees I spoke to did not know how to do a refund so it took about 15 minutes to get them to refund the credit card the extra day in the return material. Overall my experience at this location was beyond poor and I will never use this location in the future. I have rented from U-Haul four times just this month the other three times were at a different store that I was treated like a person and not a criminal. Your staff there could really use a class on how to be decent to good people. Ronda was a little nicer after I returned the items but was very rude on the phone.

I returned the truck after hours. I was late for another engagement and chose, stupidly, to forgo refilling the fuel. I was charged a shameful $95 for maybe one third of a tank. No matter how favorable the rest of the experience may have been i am deeply offended by the fee for gas. I have no doubt every one of your customers you have gouged in this manner for fuel are of the same mind. Uhaul is a rip-off with regard to fuel and could make alternate arrangements for fuel other than gouging your customers as is your current practice. I am certain you have many complaints re your refueling fees and to leave your current practice unchanged sends the message really do not care about your customers even though you are asking for feedback.
